Caspian Cargo is a group from Azerbaijan that was created in the early 2000s. For a long time, the musicians wrote songs exclusively for themselves, without posting their tracks on the Internet. Thanks to the first album, which was released in 2013, the group gained a significant army of "fans".
The main feature of the team is that in the tracks the soloists of the group describe different life situations in simple language.
The composition of the group "Caspian cargo"
"Caspian cargo" is a duet, which included Timur Odilbekov (Gross) and Anar Zeynalov (Wes). The boys were in the same class. Like many teenagers, they began to get involved in rap. Basically, they listened to foreign rap, because they considered it to be of better quality.
As a school student, Anar began to write lyrics. He recorded his work on video. Anar's first works can be viewed on YouTube. While Anar was writing lyrics, Timur was creating beats.
Later, the guys realized that they had a good tandem. They got along well with each other, but most importantly, they were united by the idea of creating their own group. Anar and Timur learned everything on their own. On the territory of their country, little was known about rap culture, since this musical direction was not sufficiently developed in Azerbaijan.
The soloists of the group recorded their debut musical compositions at home. But, as it turned out, Anar and Timur were waiting for a great success. The songs of the musicians were very warmly received by music lovers of the CIS countries. In 2015, the talented beatmaker Lesha Prio, a former member of the Chelyabinsk rap group "OU74».
Music of the group "Caspian cargo"
The band's debut album was released in 2013. The record was called "Ringtones for the Zone". The debut album immediately attracted attention. Music critics noted that the tracks that are collected in the album are an echo of the dashing 1990s.
"Ringtones for the Zone" is the first acquaintance of music lovers with the work of musicians. Many immediately had a question: “Did the members of the musical group have problems with the law?”. Timur and Anar have never been in prison. And although their tracks have a prison theme, this is nothing more than a PR move that was aimed at attracting fans.
The first album of the group "Caspian cargo" was sold in all corners of the CIS countries. The record was heard by the famous rapper Guf. Alexey Dolmatov listened to musical compositions and invited the musicians to the capital of Russia. Soon, the Caspian Cargo team and Guf recorded a song, and also released a video clip for Everything for 1 Dollar.
The name "Everything for 1 dollar" speaks for itself. No philosophy or deep meaning. In the track, they used excerpts from Solzhenitsyn's novel "In the First Circle", thereby motivating listeners to join the classical literature.
The joint work of the Caspian Cargo group and Guf benefited the team. Firstly, the number of their "fans" has increased tenfold. Secondly, after fruitful cooperation, the musicians released a number of albums.
In 2013 and 2014 the group released four mini-LPs under the same name "Trinity". And in 2014, the Caspian Cargo group released another disc, Jackets and Suits. Fans believe that this particular album has become the hallmark of the group. The album includes such popular compositions as "When you get there - write" and "Stronger mode".
The peak of the group's popularity
The peak of popularity was in 2015. This year, the group "Caspian cargo" recorded a mini-album "The Bad Deed No." and a full-length disc "Side A / Side B". The musicians have significantly expanded their circle of acquaintances. In the latest album, you can hear joint songs with such celebrities as Slim, Kravets, Gansello, Serpent and Brick Bazuka.
In the same year, the rappers' album became the best-selling in Russia on iTunes. Fans of the band asked the musicians about the concert. Without hesitation for a long time, the soloists of the group went on a concert tour. The guys played a number of concerts in major cities of the Russian Federation and in their homeland.
The lyrical compositions of the group made it possible to win "fans" among the fairer sex. The girls sorted out quotes from the songs “Eyes, her eyes”, “My girl”, “This life”, “Former” for statuses. Fans knew by heart the words of these popular songs.
Anar and Timur continue to record joint tracks with Russian rap stars. Soon there were works with Slim, T1one and Artyom Tatishevsky. Lyrical compositions occupied leading positions on the pages of music portals.

Despite the popularity of the musical group, there is information in the media that Anar and Timur are thinking about a solo career. Then came the presentation of two solo albums of rappers - The Brutto and The Ves.
The Brutto and The Weight are the guys' first solo albums. Thanks to the tracks in these albums, the listeners realized that Anar and Timur feel rap differently.
Brutto's tracks are lyrical and romantic. While Ves adheres to a more rigid style of performance. He seeks to support the role of the "prickly" and sharp rap artist.
The solo albums of rappers still turned out to be worthy. The tracks were very different in the way they were performed. This divided the "fans" of the "Caspian cargo" group into two camps. The guys have nothing left to do but work on creating a joint album.
"Soundtrack to a film never made"
In the fall of 2017, the group presented the album "Soundtrack to a film never made". The tracks included in this disc are about the life of the soloists of the musical group. In the album, you can trace the sequential scenario.
After the presentation of this album, the band's soloists informed their fans that this was their last work. Fortunately for the fans, the guys parted ways on a friendly note.
Caspian Cargo Group now
After Anar and Timur officially announced the cessation of creative activity, they went on a farewell tour. For their fans, they worked until 2018. The Caspian Cargo group traveled all over Russia. The soloists of the rap group also visited the territory of Tel Aviv and Minsk.
In 2018, the band released a video for the song "Adik original". The video was created in the well-known aesthetics - criminal showdowns, stabbings and old BMWs. In 2019, the musicians presented the video "Before and After".
Many fans are interested in the question: “Will the Caspian Cargo return to the stage?”. In 2019, Brutto announced that they do not regret that they stopped their musical activities, because they left the stage beautifully.
