The singer was born on December 31, 1977 in Gangnam-gu (Seoul, South Korea), in one of the most fashionable and wealthy areas. His father was a serious businessman, he worked in a large Seoul company, so from childhood the boy did not need anything.
Despite the fact that Koreans are rather modest people, Park Jae-Sang from an early age could afford to live for his own pleasure. The father fully provided for the well-being of the family.
The man received a good education - he studied at one of the elite Seoul schools, but the boy was not very interested in studying.
From an early age, he was interested in music, and success in this area worried him much more. He was fond of the work of American rap artists, and already in his youth he began to create his own musical compositions, devoting a lot of his time to this business.
But the father (a successful businessman) still hoped that his son would receive a good education, and was skeptical about his passion for music. In 1996, the man got his son to study at one of the major universities, where Park Jae-Sang studied as a business management specialist.
The future popular musician was reluctant to study, often missed classes, was even on the verge of expulsion, as a result of which his father had to attract connections so that his son would not be expelled.
Yet Park Jae-Sang decided that his fate should be different. He left his studies at the university on his own, graduated from English courses and entered a music college, independently took steps towards the career he dreamed of, although his parents wanted a different fate for their son.
After graduating from college, the man returned to Korea, where he began his musical career.

The dance shown in the video has been practiced all over the world. The song entered the Guinness Book of Records and in record time gained 1 billion views on the popular video hosting.
It is known that the man is married to a cellist and has two twin daughters. The singer rarely comes to his homeland, mainly with concerts. PSY continues to actively tour and create new music, endlessly delighting his fans around the world.
