GSPD is a popular Russian project owned by David Deimour and his wife Arina Bulanova. She acts as a DJ during her husband's public performances.
Sometimes Deimour bypasses the recording studio and records tracks on an iPhone. In one of his interviews, the musician admitted that he did not count on the success of his project, although he secretly hoped that over time his tracks would become popular and he would become famous.
Childhood and youth
He spent his childhood on the territory of Nizhny Tagil. He had not the most pleasant impressions about the provincial town. The city was full of prisons, and this had a negative effect on the entire atmosphere of Nizhny Tagil. David recalls that in the city where he spent his childhood, it was always gloomy and overcast. The guy recalled life until his adulthood something like this:
“When I was walking around the city, I was always afraid to step on a syringe. They really were everywhere. They teemed with roads, they lay in the bushes and grass. Of course, I understood that there were no prospects for development in Nizhny Tagil. I wanted more…”
Like everyone else, David attended high school. He could not be called an excellent student, but also in the ranks of the lagging behind, the guy could not be written down. In high school, he decided to pull up his studies. David achieved his goal. He left Tagil, and go to university.
He moved to the cultural capital of Russia, and was successfully enrolled in St. Petersburg State University. He studied at the Faculty of Sociology, but was soon expelled. Expulsion from a higher educational institution was known in advance. David lost his initial fuse. He was reluctant to study and increasingly skipped lectures.
After being expelled from a higher educational institution, the doors of independent life opened before him. Since he never received an education, he had to be content with little. David worked as a laborer and taxi driver.
Creative path and music GSPD
In David's house, the top tracks from the repertoire of Benny Benassi, Scooter, "Cinema”,“ Ivanushki ”,“Hands up"and the Russian rap team"AK-47". Some of these guys shaped David's taste in music and encouraged him to try his hand at the recording studio.
Unfortunately, he had no idea where exactly to start his journey. He did not have rich parents, nor any support from the producers. David just went with the flow and enjoyed what he was doing.
He tried to spend his free time as useful and interesting as possible. Once he composed a parody of the composition of the Buerak group "Sports Homunculus". The post went viral on social media. The track brought the singer popularity, albeit a small one.
The singer uploaded the first recordings under the creative pseudonym MS Lord. After some time, he decided to take a more modest creative pseudonym. Now the artist's tracks were released under the name GSPD.
Debut album presentation
In 2016, the presentation of David's debut collection took place. The record was called "For the first and last time." The album contains 7 tracks. Dance-energetic compositions with a bang were accepted by teenagers.
It turned out that this was not the last novelty of 2016. Soon the singer “fitted” another “fresh” to his fans. We are talking about the disc "Girls at the Disco". The collection contained 8 musical compositions, which were performed in a disco-dance style. It was this work that increased the popularity of the singer.
A year later, Rape After Rave was released. This collection did not differ in style from previous works. In the compositions, David continued to share his own thoughts with energetic music.
In 2017, “Beautiful Russia”, “Metaphysics purely for fun” and “About Love” are released. The productivity of an executor is very easy to explain. Firstly, his previous works were warmly received by the public. Secondly, he acquired a decent number of fans who demanded new musical creations from him.
A year later, another LP was presented. We are talking about the compilation Rave Epidemic. The record was topped by only 8 tracks. David admitted that he spent only one week writing the collection. He recorded tracks on an iPhone. The popular Garage Band program helped him in this. By the way, the sound quality did not suffer much from this. In general, the disc was warmly received by fans and authoritative online publications.
In March 2018, the presentation of the video for the track "Dance-Kill" took place. His wife, Arina Bulanova, became the operator and producer. David's old comrades took part in the filming of the video.
Details of the artist's personal life
David's personal life was successful. He is married to a girl whom fans can often see at the artist's concert. She is his right hand. David's wife's name is Arina Bulanova.
Lovers do not skimp on declaring their love for each other. They are happy to share common photos and plans for a creative life. The couple looks harmonious.
GSPD at present
In 2019, the singer said that he plans to go on a big tour around the territory of the Russian Federation. Later, it turned out that most of the performer's concerts were under threat. It's all to blame - a large amount of foul language in his tracks. In some cities, he became an undesirable person.
At the same time, his discography was replenished with a new LP. We are talking about the collection "MYEVIL". Simple lyrics, catchy beats and nostalgia for the 90s - the singer adheres to a formula previously tested on his previous releases.
In 2020, a number of the artist's concerts had to be cancelled. The restrictions were caused by the coronavirus infection. A little stagnation contributed to the accumulation of energy to record a new LP.
In 2021, GSPD is back with another album. The collection was called "Leningrad Electroclub". Recall that this is the artist's first release since 2019.
The general vector has remained the same: the Russian singer continues to shift the aesthetics of the rave to a modern twist. The collection is topped by 10 delicious tracks.
