Childhood and youth

Oleksandr was born on May 28, 1972 in Lutsk in western Ukraine. He began to sing very early, when he performed at festive matinees. He studied at Lutsk school number 15. The guy did not differ in special zeal for science. Most of all, he was interested in music and his favorite guitar. Sashko practically did not part with the instrument. In 1987, after graduating from the 8th grade, he entered the Lviv military boarding school. Parents decided in this way to make a real man out of a bully. It was in this boarding school that Sasha received one of his nicknames - Komis (boarding-military from the word commissar).

The higher education of the artist is economic. Oleksandr graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Lutsk Technical University with a degree in Enterprise Economics. In the first years of university, he did not study well, and even wanted to quit his studies. However, in the third year he suddenly became an excellent student and began to participate in KVN.

Creativity in the fate of Polozhinsky

Sasha began to play with the Lutsk rock band "Flies in Tea". The team performed mainly songs written by Sasha. Later, the musician joined as a showman the punk project Makarov & Peterson, with whom he tried to perform on stage.

1996 Alexander learned about the Chervona Ruta festival. To participate in it, you had to have a group, three songs and submit an application. There was no group, but there was a name and four songs. I wrote one application from the group "Makarov & Peterson" in the category of rock music, and the other, from "Tartak" - in modern dance music. Subsequently, other participants were found for the newly created Tartak group. Polozhinsky became its leader and the author of most of the songs.

Polozhinsky on the situation in the country

Quote from an interview with one of the Ukrainian magazines. “In this case, I cannot put on a mask of carelessness, pretend that everything is fine, that no one is dying, no one is suffering. That there are no people in hospitals with severed limbs, I can’t pretend that I don’t see millions of people who have nowhere to live, because they had to run away from home and I can’t pretend to be happy with what is happening in the country. I am dissatisfied with the actions of officials and the protest movement. I understand that it is not going in the direction it should be moving. There are many people involved who, in their ideals, are not close to all this, they simply satisfy their personal interests.
