The first part of the rock band included: Igor Zhuravlev, Andrey Tumanov and Vladimir Ryabov. The group was created when the so-called "new wave" began in the USSR. The musicians played reggae and ska.

Alliance is a collection of mega-talented musicians. A year after the creation of the group, they started talking about the guys. The compositions of the new group interested from the first seconds.

Concerts of musicians were also held with considerable excitement, which forced the authorities to impose on society the opinion that the Alliance group was enemies of the people and underminers of a calm system.

At the end of 1982, at one of the music festivals, the group was noticed by sound engineer Igor Zamaraev. It was he who suggested that the Alliance group record the first collection.

Soon fans of heavy music could enjoy the contents of the group's debut compilation, which was called "Doll". This album definitely cannot be described as "hitting the bull's-eye".

The tracks recorded on the disc turned out to be a bit "raw". But some songs still liked the audience. We are talking about the songs: “Doll”, “Queue”, “I slowly learned to live”, “We are pedestrians”.

In 1984, the team presented another collection, "I Slowly Learned to Live." This album, as it were, reminds music lovers of the previous collection, it consists of songs from the debut album.

What makes this work different? Professional sound engineer. Now music lovers didn't have to "strain" to understand what the musicians were singing about.

At the same music festival, where the Alliance group was noticed by a sound engineer, the soloists of the group met the artistic director of the Kostroma Philharmonic. He invited the musicians to work a little.

A few weeks later, the musicians in the original composition of the Alliance group went to conquer the audience of Kostroma. The musicians did not perform under their pseudonym. The group was introduced to the audience as "Magicians".

The fact is that the real group “Magicians” should be performing on the stage of Kostroma, but the group broke up before the date of the concert, so the group “Alliance” was forced to replace the musicians ... well, and earn some money.

The Alliance group performed only compositions of their own repertoire on stage. Such part-time work did not benefit the team, but to the detriment.

At the penultimate point of the route (after the concerts in the city of Bui), a commission from Moscow canceled the tour of the group with the wording "For the lack of ideas of the program."

In 1984, the musicians discovered that their band was on the so-called "black list". From now on, the guys do not have the right to perform and give concerts.

As a result of this unpleasant situation, the musicians were left without work. The Alliance group in 1984 announced the cessation of creative activity.

The revival of the Alliance team

In the fall of 1986, the soloists of the Alliance group announced a revival. After a long break, the team appeared at the Forum of Creative Youth in the Metelitsa institution. After a successful performance, the Alliance group joined the rock laboratory.

At the time of the reunion, the group included:

  • Igor Zhuravlev;
  • Oleg Parastaev;
  • Andrey Tumanov;
  • Konstantin Gavrilov.

A year later, the group became the winner of the first rock laboratory festival of hopes. During the same period of time, Igor Zhuravlev was able to prove himself as a vocalist, and Oleg Parastaev realized himself as a composer and arranger.

Lyricism, “smoothness” of the melody and a minimum of aggression are the components that distinguish the Moscow school from any other schools of rock. To confirm this statement, it is enough to listen to the songs: “At the dawn”, “Give fire”, “False start”.

The "strong" and productive interaction between Zhuravlev and Parastaev lasted until 1988, then the group broke up. As is often the case, everyone had their own views on how the group should develop in the future.

Zhuravlev decided to radically change the sound of the Alliance group towards rock music. Prastaev, on the contrary, planned to work in a new wave spirit.

Soon, drummer Yuri (Khen) Kistenev (ex-Music) joined the team. A year later, Andrey Tumanov left the band, and Sergey Kalachev (Grebstel) eventually took the place of the bassist.

Change of musical direction

In the early 1990s, the Alliance group slightly changed their musical direction. From now on, in the compositions of the group, “shades” of paganism are heard. In addition, in 1990, the first woman, Inna Zhelannaya, joined the team.

Soon, the Alliance group presented the fans with a new album, Made in White.

At that time, Zhuravlev, Maxim Trefan, Yuri Kistenev (Khen) (drums), Konstantin (Castello), as well as Sergey Kalachev (Grebstel) and Vladimir Missarzhevsky (Miss) were at the "helm" of the band.

At the time of the release of the collection, Inna had to leave the group, as her son was born. I would like to focus on the collection "Made in White".

This album showed the soloists' interest in authentic Russian folklore, there was a change of orientation towards world music.

The collection opened Inna Zhelannaya for fans of heavy music. Although the girl had to leave after the release of the album, the album "Made in White" "tread her path" to the big stage.

The following year, the Alliance group enjoyed international popularity. The fact is that in 1993 the collection "Made in White" won the MIDEM-93 competition.

In France, the record was named by European producers the best compilation in Europe in the style of world music in 1993.

It is noteworthy that in 1993 the team no longer existed as a single entity. However, in honor of this event, the musicians had to join forces in order to “roll back” with their concert program in Europe.

Transformation of the Alliance team into the Farlanders group

In 1994, a new group appeared in the music world, called the Farlanders.

The new team included already well-known faces: Inna Zhelannaya, Yuri Kistenev (Khen) (drums), Sergey Kalachev (Grebstel) (bass), as well as Sergey Starostin and Sergey Klevensky.

The name change did not affect the component of the repertoire. The guys managed to "drag" a significant amount of the audience with them. The popularity of musicians remained the same.

The musicians focused on releasing new compositions, touring and attending music festivals.

Sergei Volodin and Andrei Tumanov have been working on their own project since the early 1990s. In 1994, the musicians had the idea to revive the Alliance group.

This idea was supported by Yevgeny Korotkov as a keyboardist, and in 1996 drummer Dmitry Frolov, who graduated from the Gnessin School, joined.

The guys began to create, but, despite the fact that the team was significant in the world of music, the revived project was not successful.

In the early 2000s, Igor Zhuravlev took part in Katya Bocharova's project "ER-200" with new compositions. It cannot be said that this was a "breakthrough" of the musician. By that time, serious competitors had already begun to appear.

Since 2008, the Alliance group has regularly delighted fans with live performances. Concerts of musicians were mainly held in the capital's nightclubs. In the vast majority of cases, Igor Zhuravlev and Andrey Tumanov appeared in public.

Alliance Group today

In 2018, Oleg Parastaev got his own channel on YouTube video hosting. The channel received a "nominal" name "Oleg Parastaev". Fans were eagerly waiting for the news.

In 2019, a video clip was uploaded to the musician's YouTube channel, which had not previously appeared on any site. We are talking about the video for the song "At the Dawn". Fans warmly received the work.

In 2019, it became known that the band would soon release a new album. The label Maschina Records helped the musicians to record the collection.

The record was recorded in the following composition: Igor Zhuravlev (guitar and vocals), Sergey Kalachev (bass), Ivan Uchaev (strings), Vladimir Zharko (drums), Oleg Parastaev (vocals, keyboards).

Even before the presentation of the album, Oleg released several singles. We are talking about the tracks: “I want to fly!”, “I go alone” and “Without you”.

In the same 2019, the former soloist of the group published the video clip "Dawn", filmed in 1987. The video itself can not be called professional, but the fans did not seem to care much.

In 2019, fans still waited for the release of a new album. The collection was called "I want to fly!", It included 9 songs.
