Childhood and youth of Alexei Kosov
Alexey Kosov was born in 1983 in the very heart of the Russian Federation - Moscow. A rapper from the category of celebrities who hide personal information in the press.
Some sources have information that Alexei was brought up in an incomplete family and he has a younger sister, whose name is unknown to journalists.
It is also known for certain that Alexei was not the most exemplary teenager. At a very young age, he began to use alcohol and illegal drugs.
He got in trouble with the law. But soon the young man came to his senses and decided to change the direction of his life. He embarked on the path of creativity.
The creative path of Alexei Kosov
Alexey's first creative pseudonym was the name Gryazny. Kosov performed as a soloist in various Moscow groups. The young rapper began his career with the Transitional Age group.
Together with Kripl and Struch, Alexey read about the harsh life of tramps. A little later, rapper Alf joined the team.
Now the guys started calling themselves UmBriaco. Alexei Kosov in wide circles began to be called Assai.
The group released the musical composition "Out of Focus" in 2002 and "Give Me a Reason" in 2003.
It was then that unknown composers began to be talked about in various hip-hop communities. The guys are getting popular.
After 2003, Assai changed his old team to the St. Petersburg group Crack. Kosov took part in the recording of the debut album Kara-Te, as well as the second disc called No Magic.
Assai had an original presentation of songs, so he stood out from the rest of the group. Alexey is listened to not only on the territory of the Russian Federation, but also in the countries of the former CIS.
A year will pass and Assai will grow to the level that he will release his debut solo album “Other Shores”.
The album was released only in 2005, but, judging by the comments on the compositions on video resources, fans of the album's tracks are still touched.
The top tracks of the album were the songs “We Live Further”, “Southern Dreams”, “Muse”, “Confession” and the eponymous “Other Shores”.
Despite the fact that Assai's solo record turned out to be very successful, he is not going to go free swimming. Alexey Kosov is still part of the Krec group.
Some time later, the rappers will present their third studio album, which was called "On the River".
One of the tracks of the album, which was performed by Assai and rapper Fuze, becomes the soundtrack for the film "Piter FM".
A little later, Alexey noted that his lyrical mood does not coincide with the mood of the other members of the Crack group.
In wide circles, they began to discuss the information that Kosov was going to leave the group.
Since 2008, Assai has mostly been working on developing himself as a solo artist. On his own, he gathers the same like-minded musicians and releases the disc "Fatalist".
The album contains about 15 tracks in total. The songs "Polkan", "Monami", "Forever", "Indifference", "To the point" deserve special attention.
In support of the released album, Alexei, along with his musician friends, goes to Vladivostok. There they buy three cars, and from Vladivostok they lay a route through various cities of Russia. They perform for their fans.
In 2009, Kosov finally decides to leave the musical group Crack.
The Russian rapper gathers his own team and names the group Assai Music Band.
Already in 2010, the debut EP (mini demo album) “Lift” was released.
In support of the EP, the guys are touring Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. A little time will pass and Alexey will give information that he has dissolved the assembled musical group.
In 2013, the rapper presents the album "Hit for the Dead" to fans of his work. The disc contains 10 tracks. Music lovers especially liked the tracks "Flower", "Teacher", "River" and "Last Time".
A little time will pass and the album "Om" will be born. Further, Alexei collaborates with producer Mikhail Tebenkov. Kosov tries himself in an alternative direction of synthetic trip-hop.
After these experiments, the musical group begins to storm.
In 2014, Assai announced that he was ending his creative career, and 1,5 years later, in May 2015, information appeared that rappers would again appear on the big stage.
In the same year, Alexei Kosov presents the musical composition "Looking for You".
In 2017, Alexei Kosov, together with his friend and director, as well as director of photography Roman Berezin, will present the musical compositions “Now You See” and “Now You Hear”.
Recently, a rider was posted on the rapper's website - the basic requirements for organizing concerts. In this document, there were requirements not only for musical equipment.
Aleksey Kosov noted that the menu must include fresh persimmon, a plate of lettuce, three varieties of tea and jacket potatoes.
Assai's personal life
Assai is 35 years old, and oddly enough, his personal life is under the curtain. In his interviews, the performer never spoke about whether he is married and whether he has a child.

Interestingly, the only active social page in Kosovo is Twitter. On Twitter, the rapper maintains his blog.
On the page, however, as well as on the album "Om", one thing becomes clear - Kosov plunged headlong into the wonderful world of yoga.
The Russian rapper changed his image a little. He freed his head from heavy dreadlocks, although tattoos remained on his body.
In one of the interviews, the young man said that he was tormented by mental anguish from time to time. One day, he was asked what he would like to be in his next life. Alexey Kosov replied:
“In my next life, I would like to become a person with a healthy mind. I would like to have a good job, be smart and lead a healthy lifestyle.”
