History and composition of the A'Studio group

The talented musician Baigali Serkebaev stands at the origins of the collective. Behind Baigali already had experience of working on stage. In addition, the love of creativity was inherited by Serkebaev.

At the beginning of the creation of the team, Baigali worked in the Arai ensemble, which was led by Taskyna Okapova, and the star of the Soviet and Kazakh pop music Roza Rymbaeva was the soloist in it.

But soon the ensemble broke up, and did not have time to appear. Serkebaev did not lose his head and created a new team. The new soloists were: Takhir Ibragimov, vocalist Najib Vildanov, guitarist Sergei Almazov, virtuoso saxophonist Batyrkhan Shukenov, and bassist Vladimir Mikloshich. Sagnay Abdulin soon replaced Ibragimov, Almazov left to conquer the United States of America, and Bulat Syzdykov took his place.

Vladimir Mikloshich deserves considerable attention. The musician graduated with honors from the Polytechnic Institute. In the team, he solved all issues with malfunctions or setting up musical equipment. Interestingly, the band's music studio was created thanks to Vladimir.

In 1983, the new team became a laureate of the All-Union Competition of Variety Artists. With the participation of Rymbaeva, the musicians managed to release three worthy collections.

The popularity of the ensemble increased and the confidence of the artists in their significance increased. The team has outgrown the framework of a simple accompaniment and in 1987 went on a "free flight". From now on, the musicians performed under the creative pseudonym "Almaty", and then - "Almaty Studio".

Debut album "The Way Without Stops"

Under this name, the musicians presented their debut album "The Way Without Stops". At this stage in the life of the team, Shukenov became the frontman of the team. Najiba left the Almaty Studio group. He preferred to go alone.

In the late 1980s, Bulat Syzdykov announced his retirement. He decided to build his own project. The place of the musician was taken by Baghlan Sadvakasov. Baghlan's Peru owns most of the songs of the early period of "Almaty Studio". In particular, he wrote songs for the collections: “Soldier of Love”, “Unloved”, “Live Collection”, “Such Things”, “Sinful Passion”.

In 2006, tragedy struck. The talented Baghlan passed away. For some time Sadvakasov was replaced by his son Tamerlane. Then he was forced to go to study in England. His place was taken by Fedor Dosumov.

Sometimes at the performances of the musical group of the late 1980s, you can see other musicians - Andrei Kosinsky, Sergei Kumin and Evgeny Dalsky. At the same time, the musicians shortened the name to A'Studio.

In the early 2000s, Batyrkhan left the band. For the group, this was a significant loss, since for a long time Batyrkhan was the face of the A'Studio group. The celebrity began to build a solo career. Then the remaining soloists seriously thought about disbanding the group.

Band collaboration with producer Greg Walsh

The situation was saved by producer Greg Walsh. At one time he managed to work with more than one popular foreign team. Since the beginning of the 1990s, the A'Studio group has worked closely with the producer, thanks to whom they began touring far beyond the borders of Russia and the CIS countries.

During a performance in America, the musicians met the talented singer Polina Griffis. With the advent of the singer, the style of presenting musical material has changed. From now on, the tracks have become club and dance.

The team was covered by a wave of popularity. Musical compositions took a leading position in the music charts, and video clips got into the rotation of European TV channels.

However, it soon became known that Polina Griffis left the group. As a result, the A'Studio group was headed by:

  • Vladimir Mikloshich;
  • Baigal Serkebaev;
  • Baglan Sadvakasov.

Soon Baigal had a record with the recordings of Keti Topuria in his hands. Already in 2005, the group's album was released, on which was the track "Flying Away", performed by a new soloist. The inimitable timbre of the singer's voice hit the top ten. Traditional rock was added to the usual dance melodies.

Music of the group "A'Studio"

Baigali, in an interview with a journalist, spoke about the fact that he divides the creative life of the A'Studio team into three periods: "Julia", "SOS" and "Fly away". One cannot but agree with this opinion, since the last compositions are the calling cards of the group.

The musicians call Pugacheva the godmother of the A'Studio band. With her light hand, the group began a completely different life. In addition, it was she who recommended shortening the name of "Almaty Studio" to "A'Studio".

The prima donna's acquaintance with the work of the group began with the musical composition "Julia", the recording of which the musicians of the then Almaty Studio group gave to listen to colleagues from Philip Kirkorov's group. Philip "squeezed" the track from the guys and performed it himself. Alla Borisovna could not leave the team without a gift.

The team received an invitation from the Pugacheva Song Theater. This made it possible for the A'Studio group to go on a tour, which lasted more than one year. The group performed "on the heating" of popular artists, which made it possible to gain the first "portion" of popularity.

The team gained genuine success after it appeared at the concert program "Christmas Meetings". From this period of time, the group began to be invited to various events, which were broadcast on television. The A'Studio group secured the status of superstars.

Some of the band's compositions were used as soundtracks. For example, the tracks of the A'Studio group sounded in the films Black Lightning and Brigada-2. Heir".
