Andre Tanneberger was born on February 26, 1973 in Germany in the ancient city of Freiberg. German DJ, musician and producer of electronic dance music, works under the name ATV.

The beginning of the creative career of ATB

Andre was born in the GDR, but as a child he moved to the Western part of the country. Parents settled in the city of Bochum. In the late 1980s of the last century, the young man often visited the Tarm Center and watched the performances of his idol Thomas Kukula.

DJ Thomas Kukule invited Andre to work in his studio in 1992, fascinated by the beauty of electronic music, he began to write his own songs. The following year saw the release of the first singles from Sequential One.

The first album Dance was released in 1995, it was the first huge success of the talented musician. His musical compositions using synthesizer and electronic music were very popular among young people.

Andre Tanneberger's band Sequential One has achieved significant success in Europe, releasing three albums and over a dozen songs. After the group broke up in 1999, André began using the ATB name for his solo performances.

In 2005, ATB released Seven Years, a collection of 20 songs, including many top hits such as: The Summer, Let U Go, Hold U, Long Way Home.

In addition, the album "Seven Years" included new tracks: "Humanity", Let U Go (reworked in 2005)", "Believe in me", "Take me" and "Far beyond".

Many of ATB's recent albums featured vocals from Roberta Carter Harrison (of the Canadian duo Wild Strawberries).

His next album was co-written with vocalist Tiff Lacey. Trilogy was released in 2007. The release of his second single Justify was heard by ATV fans for the first time in the same year. The famous single Renegade was released in March and included Heather Nova.

In April 2009, ATB released their latest album Future Memories featuring Josh Gallahan (aka Jades). The first single, Future Memories, also released on May 1, 2009, featured What About Us and LA Nights.

His highly anticipated album Distant Earth was released on April 29, 2011 and consisted of two discs, including collaborations with Armin Van Buuren, Dash Berlin, Melissa Loretta and Josh Gallahan. Later there was a third CD with all the club versions of the first CD hits.
