History of creation and composition of Biting Elbows

The talented Ilya Naishuller and Ilya Kondratiev are at the origins of the team. Some time later, two more members joined the newly-made group - Igor Buldenkov and drummer Lyosha Zamaraev. The band members have been looking for their own style for a long time - they are "fans" from the sound of punk rock, but did not want to become attached to a particular genre.

A couple of years after the founding of the group, the musicians presented a video clip for the top composition of their repertoire. The filmed clip was not only appreciated by fans, but also by critics. He immediately got on the channel A-One. A year later, the premiere of the EP Dope Fiend Massacre took place. The compilation was topped by 5 tracks.

The video clip for The Stampede became the top one on YouTube video hosting. The Light Despondent was not only appreciated by music lovers, but also by experts. The tracks became the musical accompaniment to the film "What else do men talk about." At the same time, the musicians signed a contract with the "Mystery of Sound" and in the autumn delighted fans with the release of a full-length disc.

The creative path of Biting Elbows

Every year the authority of the team grew stronger. In 2012, the musicians performed as an opening act for the legendary Guns N' Roses and Placebo in the Russian capital. In addition, the guys had a chance to open the Maxidrom fest.

In 2013, the video clip Bad Motherfucker premiered. After the presentation of the video, recognition fell upon the musicians. In a week, the video gained 10 million views, and by 2021, the mark has exceeded 45 million views.

The bloody clip received the highest award - the musicians were awarded the London International Awards. The presented video clip turned out to be the foundation of "Hardcore", filmed according to the same principle by which the band recorded musical accompaniments.

The frontman of the band, Ilya Naishuller, throughout the entire existence of the group, time and again, was distracted by permanent work - he also took place as a film director. In 2013, work on the Hardcore Henry tape prevented the band from finishing their first tour of America, but the band's soloists were still sympathetic to Naishuller's work.

Ilya admitted that he was offered to sign contracts by prestigious companies, but he had completely different priorities. He fully managed to realize his musical ambitions. The works of his team have found admirers all over the world.

Since 2015, the team has been regularly releasing new music that has been warmly received by fans.
