The musical group Ladybug is a perky group, the style of which even experts find it difficult to name. Fans of the group admire the uncomplicated and cheerful motives of the guys' musical compositions.
Surprisingly, the Ladybug group is still afloat. The musical group, despite the great competition on the Russian stage, continues to gather thousands of fans at their concerts. And in 2017, the leader of the band presented a new album, which was called "Gospel!".
History of creation and composition
The work of Ladybug first became known in early 1988. Now the musical group includes spouses Vladimir Volenko and Natalya Poleshchuk, performing under the "sweet" pseudonym Shokoladkina, guitarist Nikolai Kanishchev and drummer Oleg Fedotov. And during the existence of the group, about 20 musicians visited the “inside” of the group.
Interestingly, the soloist of the Ladybug was the talented Stepan Razin, brother of Svetlana Razina, who for a long time was the soloist of the Mirage group. Stepan Razin did not last long as the soloist of Ladybug. Soon he saw in himself the makings of a producer, and began to promote young stars.
Another member of "BK" is Robert Lenz, whose track record includes the groups "Bravo" and "Bakhyt Kompot". Volenko had been hatching the idea of creating a musical group for a long time. At that time, Vladimir was fond of underground rock. He was a fan of the work of the musical group Auktyona.
In 1988, when Volenko gathered the soloists of the musical group Ladybug, he began recording the first album. The debut album of Ladybug was released already in 1989. Some of Volenko's works were recorded together with the Dune group. However, the album was not widely distributed.
It wasn't until 1994 that Ladybug got the right sound. Now the sound of the musical group was an explosive mixture of pop songs, folklore, chanson and rock pops.

Real popularity and popular love came to Ladybug after they appeared in the Star Rain program. The guys performed the most famous composition "Granite pebble". The musical composition remains the most recognizable hit of the Russian group to this day.
After the overwhelming success, the musical group went to Ulyanovsk. There, the guys held an explosive concert for their fans, which was charged with the incredible energy of the soloists. They sang along with Kai Metov, but as one of the soloists of the Ladybug himself recalled, almost the entire auditorium sang along with their "Granite Stone".
The soloists of the Ladybug group are returning to their recording studio. The next two albums of the musical group “My Queen” and “Fly to the Sky” are up optimism, joy and endless “silent banter”.
Later, fans of the group attributed it to a fictional musical genre. They said that Ladybug performs "cheburashka-rock".
The “head” of the Ladybug, Vladimir, diluted his image with a characteristic red jacket with black polka dots. A little later, from a brown-haired man, he will turn into a red-haired guy. Such outrageousness could not leave indifferent any music lover.
Most of the group's musical compositions are tracks about the eternal feeling of love. Also, the soloists of the group sang about the friendship of the people, preserving the beauty of the surrounding world and ecology. In the mid-90s, Ladybug released several video clips - “Ladybug”, “Fly to the Sky”, “Raspberry Berry”.
In 1997, the musical group began to actively cooperate with Joseph Prigogine. In this union, the musicians released one of the most striking works - the album "Dream Woman".
Definitely in this album there is no place for parodies and sarcasm. But the romantic lyrics are "read" from the first song. “Meeting the woman you love” and “Money was not enough” became hits on the album “Women of Dreams”.
For 5 years of work, Ladybug releases as many as 9 video clips. “Serenade”, the romantic “Blue Evening”, the animated “I Came to the Motherland”, the tragicomic silent film “Ay, yes Pushkin!”, “Anxiety”, filmed in the thriller genre, allow the audience to feel the work of the Russian group, and more “closely” meet the soloists of the musical group.

In 2003, Ladybug outdrinks Paul McCartney's Mrs Vanderbilt. The audience cheered when they heard the cover. And after some time, a video for the Paul McCartney track is released, in which cows dance together with the participants in the video.
At the turn of 2000, a wonderful feeling of love ignited between Vladimir and Natalia. They announced to their fans that they want to legitimize their relationship. Now, the music has receded into the background. Ladybug soloists commented:
“We decided to legalize the relationship. We love each other, and now we want to enjoy each other a little. Our plans are to have a baby and build a family business.”
In 2007, Ladybug returned to business again. This year, the soloists of the musical group presented the album "Wings Behind Your Back". Vladimir held a presentation of a new record on one of the most important squares in Moscow - the Mir concert hall on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.
But over time, the musical group again disappears from the eyes of viewers and from the ears of listeners. A little later, Ladybug's musical compositions began to actively appear on the Internet. Vladimir commented that now their videos will practically not appear on TV, as he believes that there are no decent channels left in Russia.

The group has been touring for over 30 years, but over such a long period, the guys have not lost the ability to rejoice at their concerts and share incredible energy with their fans.
The group started 2018 with a concert "Disco of the 90s" in Bryansk, Barnaul and Vologda, then toured Belarus with an anniversary tour. In the same 2018, the musical group presented the track “Give me money”.
In 2019, the musical group again went on tour. Some videos from concerts end up on the official website of the musical group. This is a tradition that they try to keep up.
