The girl was born on November 10, 1991 in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
From childhood, the girl showed interest in music. Both grandmother and Elina's mother were great connoisseurs of music. For example, a grandmother often took her granddaughter to the Dome Cathedral, where you could hear live organ music.
Already at the age of 4, the baby sang in the local choir "Rainbow". Moreover, Elina's mother was a part of this team for 10 years. The daughter went even further - she devoted 15 years to choral singing.
The singer talked about the fact that attending classical music concerts and opera was like a tradition for her family.
Although music was the center of interest for Elina's relatives, she did not immediately want to connect her life with singing. As a child, the girl went to sports clubs, studied video editing, and loved to take pictures. And then there was the vocals. Opera singing did not attract her attention as much as pop vocals. Until about 14 years old, the girl was engaged in this particular type of singing.
One case turned the life of the future opera diva upside down. Once Elina drew attention to the voice of Anna Netrebko, who performed Verdi's opera La Traviata. Here her heart sank. The idea of becoming an opera singer immediately arose in my head. First of all, Nechaeva was struck by the ease with which Netrebko performed a very complex part.
First steps in opera art
Elina Nechaeva found a professional vocal teacher. They became Eda Zakharova, who did not position herself as a teacher. According to her, she was a voice tuner.
Having received her secondary education at the Lyceum, Nechaeva tried her hand at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music College. Then she moved to the Estonian Academy of Theater and Music.

In her student years, Elina already gave concerts. The performance venues were very diverse: from nightclubs to one of the most famous concert halls "Estonia".
Castings and musical television shows did not interest her very much. Yes, and the girl understood that operatic vocals have a small audience coverage.
Elina changed her mind and tried her hand at the show Eesti Otsib Superstaari (2009). At the casting, the jury members were very biased towards the singer, referring to the fact that she is “not a format”. Elina decided to show them what she was capable of by offering to sing any song of their choice. And she had to perform a rock song by Black Sabbath. For the girl, it was a shocking choice, she was even a little confused at first. Then she managed to pull herself together and sing a song, the words and music of which she did not know. Thus, Elina Nechaeva proved that she can easily overcome any obstacles.

Then there was a big international competition in academic vocals. The singer managed to win bronze. At the competition dedicated to chamber music, Elina also demonstrated her talent. However, the first places were taken by more experienced and adult performers. Fortunately, instead of getting upset, the girl began to work even harder.
A few years later, Nechaeva could be seen on the Operatsioon VOX show. The project is dedicated to young opera singers who want to learn professional vocals. In addition, Elina had the opportunity to learn Italian during her studies.
Performances on the theater stage during the production of Mozart's opera "Director of the Theater" were given to the singer very easily. She soon continued her career with a series of performances. At the beginning of her career, Elina dreamed of singing a duet with Anna Netrebko and Dmitry Hvorostovsky. With the latter, alas, Elina failed to speak. The opera singer passed away in 2017.
