The early years of Garik Sukachev

Igor Sukachev was born on December 1, 1959 in the village of Myakinino, Moscow Region. The father of the future musician reached Berlin during the war, and his mother was even a prisoner of a concentration camp. Garik's parents managed to instill in their child a love of life.

At school, the musician studied rather poorly. Parents could not protect him from the influence of the street, Igor was captured by hooligan romance.

Often as a teenager, instead of lessons at school, he spent time with older children. Garik was especially fascinated by the guitar. He took lessons in playing a musical instrument from older friends.

After school, Igor entered the Moscow College of Railway Transport.

Surprisingly, in this institution the musician gravitated to study, the young man showed interest in his future profession, even participated in the design of the Tushino railway station - the one through which rock music fans get to the famous festival.

Gradually, Garik realized that he did not want to connect his life with the railway. The desire for art won, and the young man entered the cultural and educational school of Lipetsk.

At the school, Sukachev not only studied to be a theater director, but also met Sergei Galanin. The tandem of these musicians has long been the main engine of the C Brigade.

Musical career

Sukachev created his first rock band in 1977. For 6 years of creativity, the musicians managed to record a magnetic album. The second group in the musician's career was "Postscript (PS)". When Garik left the group, Yevgeny Havtan invited Zhanna Aguzarova to join it and renamed it Bravo.

But the main success came to the young man when he founded the Brigade C group. This legendary group lasted until 1991 and released many hits, including: “Road”, “All this is rock and roll” (a cover version of the song by the group “Alisa”), “The Man in the Hat”, etc.

After 1991, Sergei Galanin created his own project, SerGa, and Sukachev, the group Untouchables. In 2015, the musicians reunited under the old name and gave several concerts in the "golden line-up". They, like all other Sukachev's concerts, were held with full houses.

Today, the main project of Garik Sukachev is the Untouchables team. In this group, Igor's talent, multiplied by his many years of musical experience, sparkled with new colors. The music became more melodic, and the lyrics more philosophical.

The most successful songs are: “Drink me with water”, “Olga”, “White cap”, etc. Some songs that appeared in the repertoire of the “Untouchables” were recorded with the “Brigade C”, but they acquired more melodic arrangements.

At the moment, the last album of the group "The Untouchables" is "Sudden Alarm", released in 2013. It contains nine compositions, including cover versions by Vysotsky and Grebenshchikov.

The collapse of the group "Untouchables"

Garik Sukachev put an end to the life of the group with this album. Today he performs solo and is engaged in other, non-musical projects.
