Girls Aloud was founded in 2002. It was created thanks to participation in the TV show of the ITV television channel Popstars: The Rivals.
The musical group included Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, and Nicola Roberts.

Date of creation and reasons for the creative success of the team
November 2002 is considered the date of creation of the popular band Girls Aloud. For the first time, the performance of the pop group was broadcast in Britain on the ITV1 television channel.
As a result of voting, several participants were selected who were supposed to participate in the boy and girl groups, but two of the girls were disqualified. It was in their place that the jury decided to invite Walsh and Roberts.
As a result, it was decided to leave five girls in it. The girl band decided to call Girls Aloud. It was produced by Lews Walsh and Hilary Shaw.
In the end, it was the girls who won. Their first single, Girls Aloud, topped the UK music charts for four weeks.
The publication of the first disc to viewers who had already fallen in love with this popular group did not have to wait long - already in 2003 the first album of the girl group was released, which was called Sound of the Underground, it was very warmly received by music critics. By the way, he took the 2nd position in the UK music chart.
Some time later, the second single No Good Advice was released. In the same year, Girls Aloud recorded the song Jump, later used for the soundtrack in the feature film Love Actually.
A small break and restart of the creative career of Girls Aloud
After that, the members of the pop group decided to take a short break for a year. Then the Girls Aloud group recorded another single, The Show, which also became popular among the group's fans.
The album Love Machine came out next, and it stayed at the top of the UK charts for two weeks.
In 2005, a new, second album, Chemistry, was released, which, like the previous records of the pop group, went platinum.
A year later, a collection of the best songs of the group The Sound Greatest Hits appeared on sale. It also topped the UK charts and sold over 1 million copies.
In the spring of the following year, the group went on their third tour. At the same time, the group performed not only in England, but also in Ireland. Unfortunately, this concert was not released and published on DVDs.
The fans did not have to wait long for the release of the fifth disc, recorded at a professional recording studio, by Girls Aloud. It was called Out of Control.
According to the members of the musical group, the record has become one of the most exciting among all that the group has recorded throughout the girls' career.
In 2009, the pop group recorded a record with the Pet Shop Boys, which took 10th position in the UK charts. The single Untouchable became the most popular. In the same year, the group went on another tour.
In the autumn of the same year, Girls Aloud supported the rock band Coldplay and Jay-Z. It was decided to hold concerts at the famous Wembley Stadium.
Also in 2009, Girls Aloud signed a contract with Fascination, which included the recording of three more records. After that, the singers took a vacation for another year.
Some of the members of the team took up solo projects. Three years later, the group released the single Something New, which took 2nd position on the British radio charts.

In 2013, the band went on their farewell tour. Unfortunately, after that the team finally broke up. Some of its participants are still in show business, while others are not.
