Childhood and youth of Gustavo Dudamel
He was born in the town of Barquisimeto. The artist's date of birth is January 26, 1981. Already in childhood, Gustavo knew for sure that he would connect his life with a creative profession. The boy's parents were directly related to creativity. His mother realized herself in the profession of a vocal teacher, and his father could not imagine his life without a trombone. He was listed as a musician in several local bands.
The young musician received professional musical skills thanks to the Venezuelan education system "System". He enjoyed playing music and took frantic pleasure from listening to classical works.
At the age of ten, the young man began to play the violin, but most of all he was attracted to improvisation. At this time, Gustavo not only does not let go of a musical instrument, but also composes the first compositions.
Some time later, he received a specialized musical education at the Jacinto Lara Conservatory. When he caught himself thinking that the knowledge gained was not enough, he went to the Latin American Violin Academy.

An experienced teacher worked with Gustavo, who managed to become not only a teacher for him, but also a real mentor. Since the mid-90s, he has been preparing a young man for the fact that he will be the conductor of the orchestra. At the end of the 90s, he became the conductor of the Simon Bolivar orchestra.
The creative path of Gustavo Dudamel
In 1999, when Gustavo became the conductor of the youth orchestra, he discovered a whole world for himself. Together with a promising team, the conductor traveled to different countries.
Throughout his creative career, Gustavo was confident in the correctness of his choice. Despite the obvious talent, he constantly improved his knowledge.
When the artist became a member of the Beethoven Fest, he received the prestigious Beethoven Ring award. Then he was seen in collaboration with one of the most prestigious Philharmonic in London.

The musician was married twice. In 2006, he tied the knot with the charming girl Heloise Mathurin. They had known each other for a long time, but at first they considered their communication as friendly. In 2015, it became known that the family broke up. The woman gave birth to a son from Gustavo, but even he did not save the family from the inevitable divorce.
Maria Valverde, known to fans from the film Three Steps Above Heaven, became the composer's second official wife. They secretly married in 2017.

In 2021, it became known that Gustavo will become the new musical director of the Paris Opera. At the same time, he will continue his collaboration with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. Note that he will take up his post on August 1, 2021. The contract is signed for six seasons.
