The musical composition "Crying" for the first time in the history of Ukrainian music "blew up" foreign charts. The Kazka team was created not so long ago. But both fans and haters see huge potential in the musicians.
The incredible voice of the soloist of the Ukrainian group is very mesmerizing. Music critics noted that the musicians sang in the styles of rock and pop music. However, the group members are not against experiments. Today they create in the styles of experimental pop music and electro-folk.
How it all began?
It all started in 2017. Initially, the musical group included only 2 members - Alexandra Zaritskaya and Nikita Budash. When the group "strengthened" a little, a third member joined it. However, this happened only a year later.
Alexandra Zaritskaya is the inspirer and leader of the musical group. The girl was born in Kharkov, she has been professionally dancing since childhood. Despite dancing, the girl also loved to sing, although she did not dream of a musical career.
The girl had a natural talent and a well-trained voice. When Alexandra was in school, she was entrusted with performing on stage. Sasha performed the track of the singer Shakira. The singing of the young talent impressed the audience so much that they gave her a standing ovation.
Having received a diploma of secondary education, the talented Sasha entered the university. Unfortunately, it was not an art university, the parents insisted that the girl should graduate from the law faculty.
The girl entered, she was an exemplary student during the day. And in the evening, Alexandra worked part-time in Kharkov restaurants and bars, performing with her first mini-concerts.
High marks in the Voice of the Country project
Even during her studies at the university, Sasha participated in the project "Voice of the country". The judges of the project highly appreciated the girl's talent, but she never reached the final. Alexandra was not going to give up. After she left the project, the girl went to Odessa. And then to the capital of Ukraine, where she met Nikita Budash.
Musician Nikita Budash is a very talented person. As a little boy, Nikita was fond of playing national Ukrainian instruments.
Nikita worked for some time at the Komora recording studio, so he already had experience in creating high-quality musical compositions. In 2011, he was even a member of Dead Boys Girlfriend.
In 2018, a third member joined Alexandra and Nikita. They became Dmitry Mazuryak. From childhood he was fond of playing musical instruments. He had a diploma of graduation from a music school. Having received a secondary education, Dmitry entered the Pedagogical University at the Faculty of Art.
Dmitry Mazuryak, who did not have much financial support and was a student, earned money by playing in the underpass. He had a considerable store of knowledge about various musical instruments. One day he gave a lecture on the subject. Among the listeners was Nikita.
Nikita listened to Dmitry's story so enthusiastically that after the lecture he invited him to become a member of the musical group. It was the right choice. The audience liked Dmitry Mazuryak so much that the rest of the team members had no doubts about their decision.
Yuri Nikitin made a significant contribution to the development of the musical group. He put the musical group on its feet and told in which direction the musicians need to develop. Despite the fact that the KAZKA group is a young team, this does not prevent it from remaining an influential Ukrainian group.

Although the date of birth of the musical group was 2016, a few months later the first work of the musicians "Svyata" appeared on YouTube.
Until that moment, no one knew about the existence of such a musical group. When the video clip got a significant number of views and likes, the band members couldn't believe it.
Feeling that the first track could become a hit, the musicians sent the song "Holy" to one of the radio stations. Soon this track became "viral" and was played on the radio several times a day.
To expand the army of fans, the group went to one of the largest X-factor projects. The musicians received a standing ovation from the audience and judges. They didn't set themselves the goal of winning. Having taken the 7th place, the happy guys went on a free "swimming".
After participating in a music competition, the musicians released the track "Diva", which immediately took the lead in iTunes.
It was the success that the members of the team wanted for so long.
The guys called their first debut album KARMA. The first album included old and new musical compositions.
They also created a cover version of Kuzmi Skryabin's song "Movchati". Alexandra perfectly beat the composition of the Ukrainian rock artist.
Thanks to the song "Crying", which was included in the debut album, the musical group became successful. The musicians say that they did not rely on this particular musical composition.
KAZKA group now
One of the most progressive Ukrainian teams continues to develop further. Today they successfully combine elements of modern electronic music with folk style of performance. This is the "trick" of the guys, which allows them to stand out from the rest.
The album "Diva" scored a significant number of dislikes. The musicians were not shocked, because until the release of their debut album, their compositions held the leading position. A little later, information appeared that these were deliberately twisted dislikes.
At the moment, the KAZKA group is a popular musical group in Russia, Ukraine and the CIS countries. The musicians have pages on social networks where they share with subscribers the latest news about the release of albums, tracks, video clips and the organization of concerts.
In the winter of 2019, the musical group fought for the right to represent Ukraine at the Eurovision music contest. The jury carefully listened to the track Apart. According to the results of the audition, the team took 3rd place. The musicians were overtaken by MARUV and Freedom Jazz.
As it became known later, none of the three groups went to represent Ukraine in the international competition. Members of the board of the National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine prepared an agreement in which a number of restrictions were indicated. The singers who were selected refused to perform on the big stage.
The band's leaders said, "Our mission is to bring people together with our music, not to slander them." The musical group continues to please fans with their compositions.

Recently, the band members announced that they were going on a big all-Ukrainian tour.
Fans from many cities will be able to enjoy the performance of hits "live", and perhaps hear new items from their favorite band.
