Creativity Lorde (2009-2011)

Like most success stories, the reality was less glamorous, more lengthy and intricate.

Ella was raised on the music of Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, The Smiths and Nick Drake along with Etta James and Otis Redding.

Lorde's music combines concentrated lyrics and layered vocals with a "crisp" feel.

The artist's road to the big stage began at school. She, in a duet with a friend, took 1st place in the school talent search competition. Then the guys were invited to Radio New Zealand National. Ella's friend's father sent a recording of the collaboration to the Universal Music Group label. And Ella was offered cooperation.

Throughout 2010, Ella and her friend Luis performed at festivals, and they often played in cafes.

2011 was a difficult year, but no less successful. Ella studied with a vocal coach hired by the label. In the autumn of the same year, Ella performed her own songs for the first time instead of cover versions.

She has performed at various music festivals. And already in December she released a mini-album, which included 5 songs.
