Murovei is a popular Russian rap artist. The singer began his career as part of the Base 8.5 team. Today he performs in the rap industry as a solo singer.
The childhood and youth of the singer
Almost nothing is known about the early years of the rapper. Anton (real name of the singer) was born on May 10, 1990 on the territory of Belarus, in the provincial town of Smolevichi.
At school he studied well. The boy had a talent for the humanities. He loved to play basketball. He spent his free time reading books, listening to music and writing songs.
Parents wanted to see Anton as a designer. The young man had opposite plans - he wanted to master music. Moreover, as a teenager, Anton listened to the tracks of popular American rappers.
The creative path of rapper Murovei
Murovei is a maximalist. If you dream, then on a large scale, if you create, then with the highest quality and originality. Anton began his career as part of the Russian team "Base 8.5". Together with the rest of the group, he took 1st place at the Rap Music festival, which took place in 2008.
With "Base 8.5" did not work. Anton saw a different path for the group. The rest of the participants did not support Murovy's plans and asked him to voluntarily leave the team. Soon the rapper became a member of the duet Slozhnie.
A year later, the group was awarded 3rd place at the Rap Music festival. At the Street Awards in 2011, the rappers were given 1st place in the Debut of the Year category. Prior to the recognition of Murov's talent is still far away. But Anton successfully reached the top of the musical Olympus.
Solo career as an artist
In 2012, the rapper presented the collection "Beyond the Sixth Layer". According to the Street Awards, the collection was recognized as the album of the year 2012, which included 16 songs. Two tracks were recorded with The Chemodan Clan and Bless (Shahmen).
Almost immediately after the release of the album, the band disbanded. Murovei didn't leave the stage. He was determined to realize himself as a solo artist.
Murovei actively battled during these years. The brightest "verbal battle" took place at the "9th official hip-hop.ru battle", where Anton lost to Tipsy Tip in the third round.
Debut album presentation
In 2013, Murovei presented his debut album, which received the symbolic name "Solo". The disc includes 10 tracks, with an abundance of original text turns and a kind of flow.
A year later, the rapper's discography was replenished with the second studio album "Killer". The album contains 15 tracks. Took part in the recording of the record Dirty Louie, Tipsy Tip and Fuze.
An experimental release, Plissa, came out in the same 2014. The collection includes instrumental compositions that have been collected over the past three years. Murovei said that each composition included in the disc is associated with a certain stage of his life. For those who want to get to know the idol closer, it's a must to listen to Plissa.
The year 2015 was not without musical novelties. Anton presented the collection "One Whole". Murovei said in an interview:
“I already have several studio albums in my discography. But it is the collection “One Whole” that I consider my debut work. I will tell you a secret - I approached the recording of musical compositions as responsibly as possible. I'm sure my fans will appreciate the record ... ".
The new album is topped by 10 tracks. The guests are such performers as Pika, Braza is completely crazy and Jin 8.5. Music critics highly appreciated the disc "One Whole".
Murovei impressed with its productivity. The rapper released a new collection every year. Moreover, the fact of productivity and high speed does not reduce the quality of the tracks.
In January 2016, the rapper's discography was replenished with the album "Records". Nine very original songs accompanied by a signature instrumental from Anton himself leave few people indifferent. In the collection you can hear joint tracks with Rem Digga, Viba (TGC), Rigos and OU74.
Schod II is a collection of Belarusian compositions, which was released in November of the same 2016. Murovei recorded the track Abrakadabra for fans.
Murovei's personal life
Anton admits that he does not suffer from a lack of female attention. A young man often appears in the company of attractive girls, but prefers not to talk about his personal life.
It is known that in 2017 he broke off relations with a girl whom he had met for more than 2 years. This event greatly influenced the emotional state of the rapper. Murovei does not name the former lover. Anton does not hide the fact that mental trauma is reflected in some tracks of the album, which was released in 2018.
In his free time, Anton likes to listen to tracks by Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Flying Lotus, ASAP Rocky. In an interview, Murovei shared his opinion:
“ASAP started to create in an underground style, like Dorn. It seems to me that this is the right scheme: first you win fans, and then you start bending your line. Thus, you bring up the musical taste of the “fans”. But I mostly have my beats and songs in my player. I listen to my tracks to understand what needs to be changed in them, as well as what lyrics to write for them ... ".
Murovei today
In 2018, the rapper's discography was replenished with the new album "Gloomy Season", which included 10 tracks. Artists such as: Pastor Napas, VibeTGK, monkeradeou? and Kizaru.
The main highlight of the album was the presence of love lyrics. Until this point, Murovei tried to avoid "heartfelt topics". On the disc, songs are presented under newfangled beats. Anton is no stranger to musical experiments.
There were minor issues with the recording of the release. At the stage when the material was almost ready, Anton's computer broke down. The project was miraculously saved and all records restored.
In 2018, the rapper was in a car accident - the car crashed into a tree. This unpleasant event happened at the moment when Anton turned on the title track from the album. Passengers received minor injuries.
Murovei has already reached certain heights. Despite this, he did not stop there. The rapper moved to live in Warsaw. He continued to record new tracks and perform for his fans.
In 2020, the rapper presented the new album "The House That Alik Built", which Murovei recorded not "alone", but with the participation of the popular Russian rapper Gufa. The release of "The House that Alik built" included 7 songs. Among the guests: Smokey Mo, Deemars, Nemiga and Kazakh artist V $ XV PRINCE.
