The history of the creation and composition of the Night Snipers group

At the origins of the Russian rock band is Diana Arbenina and Svetlana Surganova. A little later, musicians Igor Kopylov (bass guitarist) and Albert Potapkin (drummer) joined the group.

In the early 2000s, Potapkin left the group. Ivan Ivolga and Sergei Sandovsky became new members. Despite this, it was Diana Arbenina and Svetlana Surganova who remained the "face" of the group for a long time.

Diana Arbenina was born in the small provincial town of Volozhina (Minsk region). At the age of 3, the girl moved to Russia with her parents. There, the Arbenins lived in Chukotka and Kolyma until they remained in Magadan. Arbenina was interested in music since childhood and could not imagine her life without songs.

Svetlana Surganova is a native Muscovite. Biological parents did not want to raise the baby and abandoned her in the hospital. Fortunately, Svetlana fell into the hands of Leah Surganova, who gave the girl maternal love and family comfort.

Surganova, like Arbenina, was interested in music since childhood. She graduated from a music school in the violin class. But she chose the opposite profession. After graduation, Svetlana became a student of the Pedagogical Academy.

Svetlana and Diana met back in 1993. By the way, this year is usually called the date of the creation of the Night Snipers team. Initially, the band positioned itself as an acoustic duet.

Everything was not bad, but after several performances, Arbenina returned to Magadan to graduate from the university. Sveta decided not to waste time. She left after her friend. A year later, the girls moved to St. Petersburg and started their musical career there.

Major changes took place in 2002. Surganova left the group. Diana Arbenina remained the only vocalist. She did not leave the Night Snipers group, continuing to perform and replenish the group's discography with new albums.
