Open Kids is a popular Ukrainian youth pop group, which consists mainly of girls (as of 2021). A major project of the art school "Open Art Studio" from year to year proves that Ukraine really has something to be proud of.
History of formation and composition of the group
The team officially formed in the fall of 2012. It was then that the premiere of a bright video clip for the track Show Girls took place. Each of the participants of "Open Kids" began her career with the art school presented above. The artists studied under the guidance of the best teachers in the capital of Ukraine.
At the time of the founding of the team, its members included:
- Angelina Romanovskaya;
- Lera Didkovskaya;
- Julia Gamaly;
- Anna Bobrovskaya;
- Victoria Wernick.
The girls had undeniable advantages. First, they sang cool. And secondly, they moved very well. The authors of the project were Yuri Petrov and Evgeny Milkovsky, who are known to fans as members of the Nerves group.
As it should be for any group, the composition changed. In 2015, the “winner” in life, Victoria Vernik, left the team. Her place was vacant for a short time. The very next year, the founders introduced a new member. Charming Anna Muzafarova became the soloist of Open Kids.
Anna is from Chelyabinsk. By the way, she became the first foreign member of the group. Muzafarova has long dreamed of conquering demanding music lovers, so she purposefully went to work at Open Kids. She is great at playing the piano and composing music. In 2013 she participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. In addition, the girl took part in two seasons of "Voice".
Yulia Gamaly is the youngest soloist of the group. From early childhood, the girl was fond of music and fine arts. Today, it continues to realize itself in two directions at once.
Lera Didkovskaya is a professional singer. She plays several musical instruments. Valeria writes poetry and considers singing to be her main vocation. She wrote several tracks for the group.
Anna Bobrovskaya and Angelina Romanovskaya are distinguished by an excellent record. Like the rest of the participants, the girls dream of conquering the musical Olympus.
In 2019, it became known that Anna Muzafarova left the Ukrainian pop group, noting that she was forced to do this for family reasons. After she appeared in the video Cosmos Girls. Ani's place was taken by a new participant - Liza Kostyakina.
Creative way "Open Kids"
The creative path of the participants of "Open Kids" began in the year of the official foundation of the team. In 2012, the girls presented a video for the track Show Girls. By the way, the author of the presented composition was Regina Todorenko and Lina Mitsuki.
The first debut before the public took place on the Ukrainian TV channel STB. The members of the team became invited guests of the entertainment show “Everybody Dance. Return of the Heroes. The warm reception of the audience - provided the team with the arrival of popularity.
In the same year, another Ukrainian team The Mannequins actively worked on the video Stop. Members of Open Kids helped the group to create a bright novelty. In addition, they became invited guests during the premiere of the Portrait album.
For this period of time, the girls have several projects with stars. A year after the formation of the group, the premiere of the track "Important" took place, in the recording of which Monatik took part. A few years later, the artist wrote the track “To Joy” for Open Kids. Around the same time period, the group held their first solo performances.
In 2016, the girls collaborated closely with the Quest Pistols Show. One of the most famous works of the bands, of course, is the clip "Coolest of all." For a long time, the track did not want to leave the first line of the prestigious music charts.
Another visiting card of the team is considered to be the composition “It seems”. A lyrical work about the love of teenagers was warmly welcomed not only by numerous fans, but also by music critics.
2017 - became rich in two more tracks. The artists presented the songs “Don't Dance” and “Hooligans” to music lovers. In the same year, the team released a video jointly with the NEBO5 team for the track "Dancing Generation". A couple of hundred children took part in the filming of the video. Note that this is not the only work with the presented group. At the end of March 2017, the teams presented a team-up called "Jump".
Open Kids: our days
In 2018, the girls visited Russia. They held a grand concert in the capital. Then they swept with performances in major cities of Ukraine.
On June 8 of the same year, the premiere of the video for the musical work "New Hit" took place. In the same year, they presented the video clip "Sticker".
In mid-February 2019, the band's debut LP premiered. The collection was called Hulla Bubba. The record was headed by 7 new tracks and 3 already known hits of the band. In early December, the premiere of the video for the track "Exboyfriend" took place.
The group that reached unprecedented heights developed well. When in November 2020 the founder of the team announced the collapse of Open Kids, he plunged the fans into a state of shock.
Then Yuri Petrov (the founder of the team) announced the casting. It turned out that the team is changing the line-up, but reserves the right to use the name and tracks recorded by the old line-up.
In 2021, the names of the new soloists of the team were announced. The members of the team were: Tom, Monika, Kvitka, Sandra, Angie. In the updated composition, they have already managed to release a video for the track "Bicycle".
