Pika is a Russian rap artist, dancer, and lyricist. During the period of cooperation with the Gazgolder label, the rapper recorded his debut album. Pika became most famous after the release of the track "Patimaker".
Childhood and youth of Vitaly Popov
Of course, Pika is the creative pseudonym of the rapper, under which the name of Vitaly Popov is hidden. The young man was born on May 4, 1986 in Rostov-on-Don.
From early childhood, Vitaly liked to shock society with his not very adequate behavior - he shouted loudly, at school he was not the most successful student.
In addition, the character and youthful maximalism literally forced him to come into conflict with teachers.
Acquaintance with rap happened at an early age. These were the rhythms of Afrika Bambata and Ice T. In 1998, a video cassette from the 1998 Battle of the Year breakdance event fell into Popov's hands.
He enthusiastically watched the dancers. Later, Popov learned to break with his friend, then they took lessons at a dance school, where Basta's former DJ - Beka and Irakli Minadze taught.
Popov commented: “I know Basta from that party,” said Popov. “Yes, and at Casta’s concerts, we also danced.” After receiving the certificate, Popov became a student at the Sedov Maritime College.
Vitalik was tried to be expelled from the educational institution more than once. It's all to blame - his temper and desire to express his opinion everywhere and to everyone.
The creative path of the artist
A year after his coming of age, the young man tried to combine into a single whole what he lived - hip-hop and breakdance. Popov found like-minded people like himself.
The guys "make" a home recording studio, where, in fact, new tracks were released. The rappers united their association with the creative pseudonym MMDJANGA.
Later, the rapper met Vadim QP and already established rapper Basta (Vasily Vakulenko). Basta invited Popov to become his backing vocalist. From that moment, Popov's rise to the top of the musical Olympus began.
For about three years, rapper Pika was under the wing of the Gazgolder label. The performer has accumulated a few tracks, which made it possible to present the first album “Hymns on the Way of Drama” to rap fans. The rapper shot a video clip for one of the tracks.
A few months later, several more Peaks clips were released. Music critics and fans alike couldn't get past the video clips: "Drama", "Move" and "The Way of Drama".
In parallel with music, Peak continued to study choreography. In the break, the rapper reached the level that he could teach dances. And so it happened. Peak found his second job at a modern dance school.

A year later, the rapper's discography was replenished with the second studio album, which was called Aoki. This record was distinguished by the psychedelic sound characteristic of Pica.
However, Pika gained immense popularity after the presentation of the third studio album ALF V. Not only Pika worked on this collection, but also such rappers as Caspian Cargo, ATL, Jacques-Anthony and others.
The track "Patimaker" became the top. Perhaps it is easier to find those people who in 2016 did not hear a musical composition.
Amateur video clips on YouTube have amassed several million views. However, already in the summer, Pika presented the official video clip for the song "Patimaker".
The rapper's works contain abstract images and are performed in the style of a drug trance. We can safely say that Pika found himself, his sound and the correct manner of presenting music.
He cannot be confused with anyone else. As a rule, this indicates that the performer is on the right track.
In 2018, the rapper presented his next album to numerous fans. We are talking about the collection Kilativ. The album contains 11 tracks.

Pica does not forget to delight fans with concerts. But in 2020, he decided to surprise fans of his work with a new album. The presentation of the collection will take place on March 1, 2020. In addition, on February 10, 2020, the rapper posted a video clip of Alfa love on YouTube.
In 2020, the presentation of the new LP by rapper Peak took place. After almost a two-year break, one of the brightest Rostov rappers returns to the stage to conquer the audience with his "wild" rap.
Mount is the singer's first compilation since Kilativ, which was released in 2018. In the record, as always, the rapper's psychedelic approach to writing tests is felt. The collection was warmly received not only by fans, but also by music critics.

In 2021, the Russian rapper put together a band and named it Alfv Gang. At the end of February 2021, the group's debut LP was presented. The record was called South Park. Note that the collection was headed by 11 tracks.
