Sergey Trofimov was born on November 4, 1966 in Moscow. His father and mother divorced three years after his birth. The mother raised her son alone. From childhood, the boy studied at a music school, as he showed vocal abilities early.
At the age of 6, Sergei was admitted to the 1st grade of the State Choir of Boys at the Institute. Gnesins. There he soloed and studied until 1983. In 1992, Sergei returned to musical creativity and composed songs for S. Vladimirskaya's album "My Boy". And in 1994 he created songs for Alexander Ivanov's album "Sinful Soul Sorrow". And he returned to the stage under the concert pseudonym Trofim. The first solo album "Aristocracy of the Garbage" (part 1, part 2) was produced by Stepan Razin in 1995-1996. Then the first video of the artist "I fight like a fish" was released.
In the next three years, the artist became more popular. Four albums were released: Good Morning (1997), Eh, I Would Live (1998), Garbage Aristocracy (Part 3) (1999), Devaluation. At the same time, he wrote songs for Lada Dance, Nikolai Noskov, Vakhtang Kikabidze and others.
In 1999, Trofim wrote the music for the film Night Crossing. He competed with Mikhail Krug in the popular Musical Ring program. The following year he released the discs "I am born again" and "War and Peace". And he went with concerts for warring soldiers to Chechnya.
The beginning of the millennium was marked by the release of a collection of poems by Trofimov and membership in the Union of Writers of the Russian Federation. For the composition "Bullfinches" the singer received the first award "Chanson of the Year" in 2002. Then there was an unsuccessful attempt to establish family life, after which the couple broke up completely. Around this time, Sergei began dating Yulia Meshina. After some time, she left him for Alexander Abdulov.

Mutual sympathy grew into more serious feelings and the couple had their first child, Ivan. When the boy was 1,5 years old, his parents registered the marriage and got married in the church. Currently, the Trofimov family lives in the suburbs in their own house. Anastasia left the concert activity and devoted herself to her husband and children. Children play music. Ivan plays the drum set and guitar, while Lisa is learning piano and vocals.
Sergey has been fond of sports since his youth and now works out in the gym. In 2016, the Trofimovs were participants in the television program "About Love" on the air of the Channel One TV channel.
