Scryptonite is one of the most mysterious people in Russian rap. Many say that Scryptonite is a Russian rapper. Such associations are caused by the close cooperation of the singer with the Russian label "Gazgolder". However, the performer himself calls himself "made in Kazakhstan".
Childhood and youth of Scryptonite
Adil Oralbekovich Zhalelov is the name behind which the creative pseudonym of the rapper Scryptonite is hiding. The future star was born in 1990 in the small town of Pavlodar (Kazakhstan).
The path of a young man to becoming a real star began at a very young age. When the guy took a step towards music, he was only 11 years old.
The first performances have not yet sounded under the creative pseudonym Scryptonite, and Adil himself had a different surname - Kulmagambetov.
The knowledge of rap began with the work of the Russian rapper Decl. Scryptonite says that in Decl he was attracted not only by the music and the way Cyril raps, but also by the image of the singer himself - dreadlocks, wide trousers, windbreaker, sneakers.
In his teenage years, Adil had a lot of conflict with his father. He did not understand why he forbade listening to rap, always gave advice when they were not asked, and insisted on higher education.
The rapper admits that in their teenage years they were in daily conflict with their father. However, Adil grew up and his father became a real adviser and guru for him.
Music hobby
Adil devotes all his free time to music. In addition, the father of the future star insisted that he graduate from art school.
After graduating from the 9th grade, a young man, on the recommendations of his father, goes to college to become a master artist. My father dreamed that Scryptonite would later receive the profession of an architect.
Studying in college, Adil dreams of only one thing - music. It was enough for exactly three courses. Turning to the third year, the guy picks up his documents and sets off for free swimming.
There is nothing behind him. Including the diploma that his father so dreamed of. Adil fell in the eyes of his father, but if he knew that his son was waiting ahead, he would definitely lend his shoulder.
Adil warmly recalls how he attended sports clubs in basketball and judo. In addition, the singer independently mastered playing the guitar. The guy actually had a very tight schedule.
The beginning of a musical career rapper Scryptonite
At the age of 15, Scryptonite began to compose songs. A year later, the young performer performed in front of a large audience. The debut performance fell on the day of the city. It was there that Scriptonite had the honor to present his work.
Scryptonite had to create in spite of the family. The father, who saw him as an architect, for a long time could not accept his son's hobbies. But later it turned out that the rapper's dad was fond of music in his youth.
During this period of time, Adil finished school and changed his last name. The young man decided to change his father's Kulmagambetov to his grandfather's - Zhalelov.
Until 2009, there was a lull in the life of Scryptonite. But this is precisely the silence about which it is customary to say "the calm before the storm."
In 2009, Adil and his friend Anuar, acting under the pseudonym Niman, organized the Jillz band. In addition to the presented soloists, the group included Azamat Alpysbaev, Sayan Jimbaev, Yuri Drobitko and Aidos Dzhumalinov.
It was from that moment that Adil's first steps to the top of the musical Olympus began. At that time, Scryptonite was already a recognizable person. However, the rapper was popular only exclusively in Kazakhstan.
Between 2009-2013, the rapper is recognized as the singer of "real trap music". But, real and not fake popularity came to the rapper after he, together with Anuar, released a video for the track VBVVCTND. The title of the song is an abbreviation of the phrase "A choice without options is all you gave us".
"Soyuz" or "Gazgolder"?
After the track was released to wide circles, two major labels immediately became interested in Scryptonite's work - Soyuz and the Gazgolder production center.
Scriptonite preferred the second option. There are rumors that Basta personally interviewed Adil, so he voted in the direction of the label founded by Vasily Vakulenko.
Adil admitted to reporters that he immediately found a common language with Basta. They seemed to be on the same wavelength. In 2014, Scryptonite became a resident of the Gazgolder label. Adil will call this moment a turning point in his life.
But, it was a positive turning point that could glorify a previously unknown rapper from Kazakhstan in Russia.
In 2015, the number of fans of the work of the Kazakh rapper increased several times. But, Adil was in no hurry to present his debut album, but "fed" his fans with suitable singles.
In some of them, the rapper acted as a “leader”: “Not welcome”, “Yours”, “Curls”, “5 here, 5 there”, “Space”, “Your bitch”, and in some as a guest: “ Chance" and "Perspective".
Collaboration with Basta and Smokey Mo
In addition, Adil took part in the recording of a joint album of rappers Basta and Smokey Mo. The disc, where you can listen to the tracks of Basta, Smokey Mo and Scryptonite, was called "Basta / Smokey Mo". For Adil, this was an invaluable experience.
After Scryptonite became part of the Gasholder team, his career did not stand still. The rapper was constantly involved in some kind of collaboration.
The most striking work was the recording of tracks with Pharaoh and Daria Charusha.
The song that the rapper recorded with Daria took 22nd place in the top 50 songs of the year from The Flow portal.
Scryptonite shoots video clips for the songs "Ice" and "Slumdog Millionaire". In a short period of time, the video is gaining the coveted one million.
First million fans
For the rapper, this news was a good motivation to move on. “I didn't expect so much recognition from my fans. 1 million. It’s strong,” commented the Kazakh rapper.
In 2015, Scryptonite recorded one of the most powerful albums. The long-awaited disc was called "House with a normal phenomenon." In terms of its popularity, the disc bypassed the albums of rappers who were already firmly on their feet.

Scryptonite is a rapper with an unusual appearance. He is young and attractive, besides writing a daring rap, so his persona attracts the attention of the opposite sex. But, Adil prefers not to put his personal life on display.
However, in 2016, the media published an article where they "attributed" to the rapper an affair with the artist Martha Memers.
Neither Martha nor Scryptonite confirmed this information, but they did not refute it either. In addition, the rumors were not confirmed by photographs.
After this statement, journalists became interested in the person of the former lover of the rapper. His former name is Abdiganieva Nigora Kamilzhanovna.
The girl works as a dancer, and judging by her social networks, she is not without the attention of the stronger sex.
The son of Scryptonite and Nigora is called Rays.

In 2017, the rapper will present the album "Holiday on 36 Street". Jillzay took part in the recording of this album, as well as Basta and Nadya Dorofeeva from the group "Time and Glass"

In the same year, the rapper again presents the album "Ouroboros" to admirers of his work. The disc consisted of two parts - "Street 36" and "Mirrors".

Scryptonite commented: "In my understanding, rap has become obsolete." The singer said that he does not leave music, but takes a break for 2-3 years.
In an interview with a well-known publishing house, the rapper noted that very soon he would return to the stage. But the format of the tracks will be completely different. To the question, is not Scryptonite afraid to remain unaccepted? He replied that he had confidence that his music would be "eaten".

The rapper's discography was replenished with a new LP at the end of 2019. The album was called "2004". Initially, the collection appeared only on Apple Music, and "2004" became available on other platforms only in 2020.
A peculiar highlight of the longplay was the presence of interludes and sketes. Rappers 104, Ryde, M'Dee, Andy Panda and Truwer can be heard on some tracks. In general, the record received good reviews from fans and music critics. The production of "2004" was handled personally by Scriptonite.
The fifth studio album was not the last novelty in his discography. In 2019, he released two mini-albums. We are talking about the collections "Frozen" and "Do not lie, do not believe" (with the participation of 104).
The year 2020 turned out to be no less rich in musical novelties. Scryptonite replenished his repertoire with singles: “Height” (with the participation of Sister), “Women”, “Baby mama”, “Thalia”, “Life does not love”, “In one”, “Veseley”, “KPSP” “Bad boys” (featuring Ride and 104).
Concerts that were scheduled for November 2020 in Ukraine were rescheduled for 2021. The same fate awaits the performance of the artist in Russia and other countries.

Fans of Scryptonite were notified in advance of the release of the rapper's new LP. This event was supposed to take place on March 30, 2021. But, due to a technical error, the record "Whistles and Papers" on March 26 "leaked" to the network, and the artist decided to release the album 4 days earlier.
