Soraya was born in the Spanish municipality of Valencia de Alcantara (province of Cáceres) on September 13, 1982. When the girl was 11 years old, the family changed their place of residence and moved to Madrid. She studied at the secondary educational institution Loustau Valverde.

Soraya began her career as a singer in 2004, when she participated in the Operation Triumph music competition and won second place. Only the singer Sergio Rivero overtook her. This moment was the impetus for further development.
In 2005, the first single was recorded - "Mi Mundo Sin Ti". In the same year, on December 5, Soraya released her first album, produced by Kike Santander. The collection was called "Corazón De Fuego". The album proved to be very popular and achieved platinum status. In Spain, 100 thousand copies were sold. For three months, the collection stayed in the top 10 of the Spanish charts.
Inspired by victory, Soraya releases a new album - "Ochenta's". She managed to repeat the success, and the collection also received platinum status. Its difference is that the songs are recorded in English.
Among them are covers of 80s melodies and new compositions. A cover of "Self Control" was certified gold on the Promusicae Digital Songs charts and also reached number one on the Spanish Cadena 100. "Ochenta's" proved to be one of the most successful albums in Italy in 2007.
In 2006, in addition to the second album, the singer takes her first steps on television. For example, he participates in the competition "Look who is dancing!". Soraya took second place.
Soon another compilation appeared, including many covers of popular songs of the 80s - "Dolce Vita". The album was warmly received by the singer's fans: 40 thousand copies were sold.
"Dolce Vita" received gold. Among the compositions presented in the collection are covers of songs by Kylie Minogue and Modern Talking. The collection also made it to the Spanish Top 5 Albums hit parade, taking 5th place.
Soraya's further musical path
