The Pretty Reckless is an American rock band founded by an extravagant blonde. The team performs songs, lyrics and music for which the participants themselves compose.

Taylor Momsen was born on July 26, 1993. As a child, her parents gave her to the modeling business. Taylor took her first steps as a model at the age of 3. The baby collaborated with many well-known companies and earned a lot of money.

Having solved organizational issues, the first composition of The Pretty Reckless was assembled. The originally conceived name The Reckless could not be used due to legal rights issues.

In 2009, the band members were: John Secolo, Matt Chiarelli and Nick Carbone. However, the musicians did not work long. The young soloist dismissed all the musicians because of different views on further work. Together with the producer, the vocalist assembled an updated team of professionals, which included:

The debut track of the American rockers "Make Me Wanna Die" very quickly fell in love with the audience. Immediately after the release, the track became the winner of the UK Rock charts. He held the leading position for 6 weeks in a row. The success of the song was facilitated by its use in the comedy Kick-Ass. This composition is still one of the most recognizable in the group's repertoire.
The end of 2009 proved to be successful for the band. The line-up change and the signing of an agreement with the recording company Interscope Records became crucial events in the life of the young band.

In the summer of 2010, the first album of aspiring rock stars, Light Me Up, was presented. After 4 years, the team presented the second collection. The history of writing the title hit of the album was influenced by the consequences of the terrible hurricane Sandy. In October 2016, the group's disco collection was replenished with another album. Many guest stars took part in its creation.
The most popular songs from the three albums were filmed with bright eccentric video clips. The most memorable were the works on the songs: "My Medicine", "Just Tonight", "You", "Light Me Up".
Tours
The main soloist had almost no childhood. Already at the age of 17, she, along with three men, endured the hardships of a difficult concert life. The musicians went on a world tour in 2010 in support of the first record "Light Me Up".
In August 2011, the vocalist of the group radically changed her image and announced that she was finally leaving the big cinema. Now her attention was completely focused on the music. Four days after the end of their first tour, the band embarked on their second tour. At the concerts of this tour, the young group performed as an opening act for Marilyn Manson and Evanescence.

Tragedy happened in 2018. In the spring, a close friend, co-songwriter and producer of the band Kato Khandwala, died. The cause of the man's death was a motorcycle accident. After the death of the producer, the artists more than once dedicated memorable songs to him.
In February 2020, Taylor Momsen confirmed the completion of her 4th studio album. Several songs and video clips from the upcoming album have already been presented.
