Briton Tom Grennan dreamed of becoming a football player as a child. But everything turned upside down, and now he is a popular singer. Tom says that his path to popularity is like a plastic bag: "I was thrown into the wind, and where it didn’t drift ...".

Childhood and youth of Tom Grennan
Tom Grennan was born on June 8, 1995 in Bedford to an ordinary family. My father worked as a builder, and my mother worked as a teacher all her life. As a child, the boy dreamed that he would connect his life with a football field.
At one time, the young man managed to play for football teams: Luton Town, Northampton Town, Aston Villa and Stevenage.
“I was a meter away from starting to play in the United States of America. But something told me not to. Most likely, the music whispered in my ear ... ”, - said Grennan.
After leaving school, the young man moved to London. Soon he entered a higher educational institution. It didn’t work out with my studies, and football faded into the background. Tom became actively interested in music.
Grennan's first performances were in local bars and restaurants. The young man sang and played the acoustic guitar. Tom's preferences were blues and soul. His penchant for musical directions can be seen on his first EP, Something in the Water, produced by Charlie Hagall.
It is not difficult to guess that the young man earned his first money by singing. It was very interesting to watch him. Tom created the image of "his" guy. The performances of the young artist were easy. There was an atmosphere of complete peace in the hall.
Once at a party, Tom performed the musical composition Seaside by The Kooks. Friends were so impressed with his voice that they advised him to record songs and look for a producer.
