Vadim Samoilov was born in 1964 on the territory of the provincial Yekaterinburg. Parents were not connected with creativity. For example, my mother worked as a doctor all her life, and the head of the family held the position of an engineer. Later, Vadim and his family moved to Asbest (Sverdlovsk region).

Samoilov said that he was a musician by vocation. The love for music began in childhood. Vadim began writing his first compositions in the 1st grade. He met Sasha Kozlov. The guys played in the same ensemble. The guys recorded cover versions of tracks by popular foreign rock bands. Later, they also liked the compositions of Russian groups.

After graduating from high school, Vadim became a student at the Ural Polytechnic Institute. He received the specialty "Design and production of radio equipment." By the way, in the future, the knowledge that he received at the university was useful to the musician.

In the mid-1980s, Vadim became a laureate of music festivals that were dedicated to amateur songs. Soon he performed tracks as part of the Club of the Funny and Resourceful.

Vadim is known as the founder of the Russian rock band Agatha Christie. Vadim began his creative life as a member of VIA "RTF UPI" in the mid-1980s for student performances. Vocal-instrumental group was created:

In 2006, Samoilov created his own project, which was called "Hero of Our Time". The project helped young and talented musicians to develop.

A year after the creation of the "Hero of Our Time" project, Vadim's biography "opened a completely different page." He became a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. The musician actively fought against the problems of plagiarism.

Along with the Agatha Christie team, he participated in other important projects. For example, in the mid-1990s, he took up the arrangement of the LP Titanic by Nautilus Pompilius and Vyacheslav Butusov. This is not Samoilov's only experience as an arranger.
