His songs, heavy riff rockers and romantic power ballads, as well as his lyrics, made him something of a prophet to a generation of frustrated young people. The latter found salvation in them and a door to an easier, more reckless life in "Vita Spericolata", described in one of his most famous hits.

Childhood, adolescence and youth Vasco Rossi

Vasco was born in 1952 into a simple family. My father was a driver and my mother was a housewife, they lived in a small town in Italy. The boy received his name, unusual for an Italian, in honor of the man who saved his father's life. The love of singing was instilled by the mother in her son from birth. And she believed that her son was simply obliged to study at a music school. Actually, that's what happened.

As a teenager, Vasco organized his first ensemble, with the loud name Killer. True, soon the group was given a more cheerful name - "Little Boy".

At the age of 13, Rossi becomes the winner of the prestigious Golden Nightingale vocal competition. Parents decide to move to a larger city. A family from their hometown of Zocca leaves for Bologna.

This prompted the young man to enroll in accounting courses - it is not known for certain, because music and boring numbers are not at all interconnected. But, nevertheless, Rossi begins to study accounting and at the same time is fond of theater. He enters the University of Bologna, but, realizing that he cannot be a teacher, he leaves the university.

The beginning of the creative path of Vasco Rossi

Vasco opens his own disco, where he is also a DJ. Together with friends, he founded the independent radio of Italy, and at the age of 26 he released his first album "Ma cosa vuoi che sia una canzone". And a year later - the second "Non siamo mica gli americani!".

One of the songs has the effect of an exploding bomb, and to this day is considered one of the best love songs.

The release of albums becomes an annual tradition for Rossi. In the 80th year, Vasco recorded the 3rd album called "Colpa d'Alfredo", but the title song was never aired on the radio. The censors considered that there was a lot of impartiality in it and banned the broadcast.

Scandalous glory of Vasco Rossi

Rossi became infamous and truly famous after participating and performing a song in the TV program "Domenica In" on Italian TV. After that, a flurry of accusations hit the TV channel that they aired drug addicts and uneducated people. The well-known moralist journalist Salvagio was especially zealous.

Insulted, Vasco and his group protested to the journalist, after which, in fact, they became known to the general public. Scandal always attracts, and scandalous characters are watched twice as closely. The rock band is famous. And according to tradition, a year later, in 1981, she released her new album "Siamo solo noi". He is considered the best of all time creative activity. This album received accolades from critics and fans alike.

Personal life

An icon of Italian rock, a playboy, an idol and an idol of youth, in his personal life he was a deeply unhappy person. He survived two serious accidents and the fact that he survived can be considered a miracle. The motto of all rockers: "Sex, drugs and rock and roll" Rossi brought to life with great zeal. He disrupted concerts after eating amphetamines, went to jail because of cocaine ...

But the arrest and a short term helped the singer get rid of addictions. And the birth of a son in 1986 changed his whole life. He fell out of the public eye for two years, was in a creative search. The result of this was the new album "C'è chi dice no", and full stands of stadiums at his concerts. He was not forgotten, he was talked about, he was idolized. The birth of the second son was a new round in creativity.
