Dantes is the creative pseudonym of the Ukrainian singer, under which the name Vladimir Gudkov is hidden. As a child, Volodya dreamed of becoming a policeman, but fate decreed a little differently. A young man in his youth discovered in himself a love for music, which he carried to this day.
At the moment, the name of Dantes is associated not only with music, but he also succeeded as a TV presenter. The young artist is the co-host of the program “Food, I love you!” on the Friday! TV channel, as well as the Closer to the Body program, which is broadcast on the Novy Kanal TV channel.
Dantes was part of the DIO.filmy musical group. In addition, in 2011 he won the Golden Gramophone award from Russian Radio, as well as the Crystal Microphone award from Europa Plus radio station.
Childhood and youth of the artist
Vladimir Gudkov was born on June 28, 1988 in Kharkov. The future Ukrainian pop star grew up in an ordinary family. It is known that his father worked in law enforcement, and his mother for the most part took care of the family and raising children.
Vladimir always took an example from his father, so it is not surprising that as a child he wanted to become a policeman. However, with age, Gudkov Jr. began to get involved in music more and more.
Teachers at the music school noted that the boy had a strong voice. As a result, the mother gave her son to the choir. The first song that Vladimir performed was the children's song "A grasshopper was sitting in the grass."
At school, Gudkov Jr. was not distinguished by perseverance. The boy was often kicked out of class. Despite this, the guy studied well.
After graduating from school, Volodya became a student at a music and pedagogical school. In this educational institution, the young man received the education of a vocal teacher.
Despite the fact that Vladimir was attracted to music, his parents insisted on getting a higher education. That is why Gudkov Jr. became a student at the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute.
After graduating from the institute, the young man worked for some time as a bartender, a party host, even an installer.
After participating in the Star Factory-2 project, Vladimir Gudkov wanted to continue his studies and entered the Lyatoshinsky Kharkov School, where he studied with a teacher Lilia Ivanova. Since 2015, the young man has worked as a presenter on Lux FM radio.
The creative path and music of Vladimir Gudkov
Dantes dreamed of the stage and performances. In 2008, the young man decided to go to the Star Factory-2 project. Volodymyr passed the casting, on the stage for the judges the young man sang the Ukrainian folk song “Oh, the field has three crowns”.
He supplemented his performance with a "small portion" of choreography. The number amused the jury, and Dantes provided a ticket to the project.
Vladimir became part of the musical show and spent three months in the house, where they constantly filmed. All three months Dantes was under the close attention of video cameras. It was with close attention to his person that Dantes began to annoy the other participants in the project.
Vladimir from morning until late at night spent at rehearsals. On the project "Star Factory-2" Dantes met a friend and future colleague Vadim Oleinik. The performers shoulder to shoulder reached the final of the show, and later created the musical group "Dantes & Oleinik".
For the first time, the musicians appeared with their performance at the concert of the Ukrainian singer Natalia Mogilevskaya. The singer's concert took place at the National Palace of Arts "Ukraine".
It was Natalia Mogilevskaya who acted as a producer of young musicians. The guys, together with Mogilevskaya, toured Ukraine.
In 2009, the group "Dantes & Oleinik" presented the debut video clip "I'm already twenty", which began to be played on popular Ukrainian channels.
In 2010, Dantes wanted to show his vocal abilities again. The singer took part in the project “Star Factory. Superfinal ”, in which the participants of the three previous editions were invited.
At the end of the show, young singers sang songs about the Great Patriotic War, in particular, Dantes sang the song "Smuglyanka". Despite the excellent vocals and presentation of the song, Vladimir did not make it to the final.
In 2010, the musicians presented their debut album "I'm Already Twenty", which received many accolades from music critics and music lovers.
The Dantes & Oleinik group became a nominee for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010. In autumn, the Ukrainian duet received a new name, DiO.filmy.
The next few years for the musical group also turned out to be quite productive. The guys released musical compositions: “Flock”, “Open Wound”, “Girl Olya”.
The musical group put on its shelf and many awards: "Golden Gramophone" and "Sound Track" in the "Pop Project" nomination.
In 2012, Dantes again became a member of the musical show "Star Factory: Confrontation". Igor Nikolaev was delighted with the performance of the young singer and invited him to visit the New Wave festival, which was held in Jurmala.
Participation in television projects
In 2012, Vladimir Dantes became the TV presenter of the TV program Closer to the Body. The show was broadcast on the Novy Kanal TV channel. The attractive Victoria Batui became the co-host of the young man.
After the DiO.Films team ceased to exist, Vladimir focused even more diligently on his career, he became the TV host of the popular cooking show Food, I Love You!
Together with the team, Dantes managed to visit more than 60 countries. The essence of the program was that Vladimir introduced the audience to national dishes.
Together with the co-hosts of the program Ed Matsaberidze and Nikolai Kamka, Dantes created a really “delicious” show.

The young man also shared information that several unpleasant incidents happened to him during filming. Once, during filming, a bag with documents was stolen from a car, and in Miami, thieves stole expensive video equipment.
In 2013, Vladimir was among the finalists of the show "Like two drops" (an analogue of the Russian TV show "Just Like"). Dantes tried on the images of Igor Kornelyuk, Svetlana Loboda, Vladimir Vysotsky.
For two months, Vladimir and his wife competed on the Little Giants project. The show was broadcast on the 1 + 1 TV channel. Despite the fact that Dantes simply adores his wife, he had to win.
Personal life of Vladimir Dantes
When the young man was a participant in the Star Factory-2 project, he had a vivid romance with Anastasia Vostokova, a participant in the show. However, after the completion of the project, the guy admitted that he started these relationships for the sake of PR.
The second chosen one of Dantes was the sexy member of the Time and Glass group Nadezhda Dorofeeva. Three times Vladimir made a marriage proposal to the girl.
The first time he simply twisted a ring from a bottle of champagne, the second time he staged a flash mob, and in 2015, on the air at the Lux FM radio station, he officially asked to marry him.
A few months later, the couple played a magnificent wedding in a lavender style. Interestingly, lavender was brought for newlyweds from the territory of Crimea. This condition was the only whim of Dorofeeva.
Her producer Potap intervened in the personal life of Nadezhda Dorofeeva. According to the stories of Nadezhda, Potap said that Dantes was a frivolous young man who would only break her heart.
Despite this, Potap agreed to be planted by Dorofeeva's dad at the wedding. The newlyweds do not plan children for this period of time.
Vladimir notes that at the moment he is mostly focused on TV shows, and in the future he plans to create his own project - an interactive folk show with the participation of ordinary people.

At the moment, Dantes sits without work. According to his wife, he turned into a gigolo. But later it turned out that Vladimir did not just throw this "duck" to journalists, he decided to become famous for his unemployment.
The artist started a YouTube vlog “Nadya Dorofeeva’s Husband”, where he talks about what it’s like to live with a star of such a level as Nadia, under the same roof. However, not everyone appreciated the creativity of the young man, and soon the vlog was not popular.
In 2019, the guide to the gastronomic corners of the planet "Food, I love you!" broadcast without Dantes. In total, Vladimir spent about 8 seasons of the program, and after his departure he said that now it was time for other young presenters to prove themselves.
The fans of the program were upset by the decision of Vladimir, because they considered him the best presenter of the project. Vladimir presented the musical composition “Now you are 30”.
