His second disc Piel de Nina (1993) was created in collaboration with the famous musician Pedro Ramirez. Thanks to numerous hits, she became even more popular than the first.

Despite his adherence to the traditional Mexican way of life and a developing musical career, when Alejandro completed his secondary education, he decided to master the profession of an architect and enrolled at Atemajac Valley University.

However, the young man devoted most of his spiritual strength and time to music. In his songs, he has already described personal emotional and romantic experiences, successfully combining them with traditional Latin American motives.

This was reflected in the compositions of his new disc "Great hits in the style of A. Fernandez" (1994). For the record, he used songs by such popular composers as Luis Demetrio, Armando Marzaniero and José Antonio Mendez.

The next two records (Que Seas Muy Feliz (1995) and Muy Dentro de Mi Corazon (1997), the second of which received double platinum status, were aimed at a youth audience and pursued the goal of adapting the old musical traditions of Mexico to the new time. .

This was followed by the album Me Estoy Enamorando (1997), which became a turning point in Alejandro's musical quest and allowed him to really step forward, expanding his musical horizons.

The compositions from the disc, without losing the traditional Mexican sound, absorbed all the best from the romantic ballads and popular music of that time.

The surge in popularity of the artist

The performer won the hearts of music lovers both in the Americas and in Europe. In one of the songs, Gloria Estefan sang along with him. The worldwide circulation of the album was 2 thousand copies. In Latin America, it was recognized as multi-platinum.

By Christmas 1999, the album Christmas Time in Vienna was released, in which the singer performed popular Christmas songs together with Patricia Kaas and Placido Domingo.
