Glyzin was born in Mytishchi near Moscow in 1954. Mom and dad of little Lesha had nothing to do with art.
Parents were employees of the railroad.
A cheerful company often gathered in the Glyzins' house. Friends came to visit. Adults arranged mini-concerts at home.
So, for the first time, Alexei begins to get acquainted with music and creativity in general.
When little Lesha was 4 years old, his parents broke up. Now mom had to work much harder.
With her diligence, the mother earned herself and Alexei a room in a two-room apartment. But, Alexey Glyzin most of all in his childhood remembered his grandmother's house, which was located at the Perlovskaya station.
Mom began to notice that her son was drawn to music. She took Alexei to a music school. There, the boy mastered playing two instruments at once - piano and guitar.
Young Glyzin said that as a child he simply dreamed of being a famous pianist who gathers a full audience of fans.
Alexei recalls that as a child he begged his mother to buy an electric guitar. But he was constantly refused, because my mother did not have money for this.
Then the young man tried to make an instrument on his own, but nothing came of it. Yet the lack of knowledge made itself felt.
Then Glyzin came up with the idea to become a student at the radio engineering college.
A few years later, the young man was able to fulfill the dream of his youth. He made his own electric guitar.
On this, the desire to continue his studies dried up, and the guy left the school without any remorse.
Young Glyzin literally plunged into the world of music and creativity. Literally for days on end, the young performer plays in the ensemble of the Mytishchensky House of Culture.
In addition to working in the ensemble, Alexei is educated at the department of the Tambov cultural and educational school.
Three years later, Glyzin sets off to conquer Moscow. In the capital, he enters a higher educational institution of the Institute of Culture. Alexei chose the pop-jazz faculty.
The future star managed to study at the institute for only three courses, and then Glyzin went to salute the Motherland. He served in the Far East.
Alexei was torn away from what he loved, and he begins to fall into depression. However, the leadership found out about his musical talents, which sent the young man to a musical platoon.
Music critics believe that it was from this moment that Glyzin's creative path as a singer began.
Glyzin played the alto saxophone, having mastered the instrument in 3 months. Having repaid his debt to the Motherland, the singer began to build a career.

Glyzin gained experience in musical groups for a very long time before building a solo career. At one time, the singer was a member of the VIA Good fellows and Gems.
Having gained some experience, he became the founder of his own group Loyalty.
With his musical group, Glyzin traveled half of the Soviet Union.
In the mid-70s, Alexei Glyzin became part of the Rhythm musical group. This group was by those standards more promising and highly paid.
The musical group accompanied Alla Borisovna Pugacheva. Together with Primadonna, Glyzin visited major cities of the USSR.
At one of these concerts, Glyzin was noticed by Alexander Buinov, who at that time was the soloist of the Merry Fellows group.
Buinov offered Glyzin a place in Merry Fellows. Alla Borisovna wished Alexei a good journey, because she believed that he was a very promising artist.
Since the beginning of 1979, Glyzin officially becomes part of the Merry Fellows. In addition to the fact that the group tours the USSR, they travel abroad.
The cheerful guys visited Finland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Cuba, Germany and Bulgaria.
The musical group enjoyed great success, and the soloists of the Merry Fellows became world-class stars. Songs performed by the soloists of the musical group did not leave the TV screens.
Cheerful guys were present at all festive concerts.
The musical compositions “Don’t worry, aunt”, “Bologoe”, “Cars”, “Traveling artists”, “Rosita”, “Evening by candlelight”, “Redheads are always lucky” were known by heart by millions of fans throughout the USSR.
As happens with famous people, there were some scandals. During the tour of the Merry Fellows in Leningrad, they lived in one of the local hotels.
A group that came from the USA also lived next door to the guys.
One day, an American drummer threw a TV out of his room. However, the leadership blamed this incident on Alexei Glyzin.
This event made a lot of noise. Glyzin could not get into the city for a long time. But, despite everything, this scandal benefited the young man.
After the scandal, Alexei was invited to star in such films as "Primorsky Boulevard" and "She is with a broom, he is in a black hat", for which Alexei recorded several compositions.
Together with the musical group Merry Fellows, Alexey Glyzin visited the Yerevan-81 festival and the Bratislava Lyra-85 international pop song contest.
Cheerful guys took an active part in the recording of the cult album "Banana Islands".
In 1988, Alexei Glyzin took a risky step for himself. He announced that he was leaving the musical group Merry Fellows.
Now the singer becomes the founder and leader of the Ur group. For several years in a row, the team of Ur toured the USSR.
Solo career of Alexei Glyzin
In 1990, Alexey Glyzin presented his first solo album, which was called "Winter Garden". The debut disc became a real folk bestseller.
The album includes such musical compositions as "Winter Garden", "You are not an angel", and also "Ashes of Love".
After 5 years, Glyzin's new disc is released, called "This is not true." Igor Talkov's song "My Love" sounded in this album.
In the middle of the 90s, Alexei Glyzin's fame peaked.
However, gradually Glyzin's popularity began to decline. In the early 2000s, new stars began to appear on the Russian stage.
Creativity of Alexei is not so actively interested. But old fans continue to scroll through the old hits of their idol.
