Childhood and youth

She was born on June 13, 1937. Alla is from Ukraine, but Ioshpe is Jewish by nationality. The childhood of Alla and her older sister was spent in the capital of Russia.

At the height of the Great Patriotic War, the family was evacuated to the Urals. According to Alla:

“We were evacuated. On the bus, they tried to send us to the Urals along a safe road. Passengers are out of luck. Our bus came under fire from German soldiers. My sister and I got scared, ran away from the bus, lay down on the grass and were afraid to open our eyes. It seemed as if we were not breathing ... ".

When Alla was 10 years old, she injured her leg. Damage to the limb caused infection. Parents were forced to sell all valuables, if only their daughter recovered. The doctors insisted on removing the leg, but fortunately, the disease subsided, leaving an imprint on Alla's quality of life.

It was during this period of time that Ioshpe wanted to prove to herself and others that despite her health problems, she was no worse than others. Alla had a burning desire to become an artist in order to sing, dance and delight the audience with bright stage numbers.

After receiving her secondary education, she entered the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University. Despite having a diploma, Alla did not leave her childhood dream. She dreamed of the stage.

Alla's creative biography started in her student years. She skillfully combined her studies with rehearsals and performances in a student orchestra. Ioshpe brilliantly performed the compositions "Princess Nesmeyana" and "There is little light outside the window."

In the early 60s, a student ensemble on the site of the Molodezhnoye cafe on Gorky Street. Alla is lucky. Stakhan Mamadzhanovich Rakhimov was present in the hall. Ioshpe began to perform a composition about Tbilisi, which attracted the attention of the artist to her person. When Anna sang, Stakhan could not resist and went on stage. They sang the song as a duet. There was an awkward silence in the hall. The audience seemed to be afraid to breathe.

When Anna and Stakhan stopped singing, the words "bis" began to be heard from all corners of the establishment. The artists realized that they feel each other, and therefore they can perform together. Later they will say that the duet is, first of all, not a perfect vocal, but an understanding of their partner.

The artists performed under their own names. They were unwilling to take pseudonyms, as they considered such actions banal. Stakhan Mamadzhanovich behaved like a noble man. He agreed that during the announcement of the artists, Alla's name was announced, and then his. Soon the duo began to record records. It is noteworthy that most of the albums did not have a title, but this did not prevent the collections from selling well.

Among the most popular compositions of the duet are the songs: “Meadow Night”, “Alyosha”, “Autumn Leaves”, “Goodbye, Boys”, “Three Plus Five”, “Autumn Bells”. At one time, celebrities traveled almost all corners of the vast Soviet Union.

In the late 70s, Alla was on the so-called "black list". High-ranking officials were dissatisfied with her. The accusations against Ioshpe had no serious grounds. The fact is that she wanted to go to Israel for treatment, due to deteriorating health. She was not allowed out of the country and banned from performing until the end of the 80s.

Life these days

10 years will pass and the duo will reappear on stage. At the sunset of the 80s, the musicians present a bright longplay. We are talking about the disc "Roads of Artists". From that moment on, Alla does not leave the stage, delighting fans of her work with a brilliant performance of immortal hits.

In 2020, Alla took part in the filming of the program “Hi, Andrey!”. The release was recorded in honor of Mikhail Shufutinsky. On the program, Ioshpe performed a composition called "The Song of the Jewish Tailor."

A year later, Alla Ioshpe, together with her duet partner, starred in the program "The Fate of a Man". Boris Korchevnikov asked the couple about the beginning of their creative career, the development of the novel, problems with the state, and why no heirs appeared in the marriage.

Alla Ioshpe can be safely called a happy woman. She was incredibly lucky with her husband. She met her first husband as a teenager. At the beginning of the 60th year, Alla and Vladimir officially legalized relations. The couple had a common daughter.

In an interview, Ioshpe said that she considers her first marriage happy. Despite a good relationship, the woman could not resist the temptation. When she met Stakhan Rakhimov, she fell in love with him at first sight.

Alla came home and honestly informed Vladimir about her decision to divorce. The husband did not hold his wife, and agreed to a divorce. By the way, at the time of their acquaintance, Stakhan was also married.

Later, Rakhimov and Alla officially legalized the relationship. Stakhan did not insist that his wife take his last name, since the fans perceived the woman as Ioshpe. The artists lived in a house in Valentinovka. Back in the 50s, Stalin gave the order to rebuild houses for popular artists.

Almost all the housework was done by Alla's husband, because she had health problems. Ioshpe has repeatedly admitted that she is a happy woman, because next to Stakhan it is simply impossible to be another.
