The fourth album titled "Songs of Mass Destruction" contained "powerful emotional songs". "The Annie Lennox Collection" - a compilation released in 2009, was on the most prestigious top spot in England for 7 weeks in a row, although there were few new singles in it. The main part was made up of the best, time-tested songs of the singer.

In 2014, Lennox remembered her passion for covers by releasing a collection of famous blues and jazz songs that the singer loved so much in a new arrangement.
