The secret of the ensemble's longevity is simple - the performance of soulful and expressive songs, many of which have become eternal hits, such as "The Bird of Happiness" or "The Blue Song", and the great desire of pop performers to give the public joy.

"Hello song!": how it all began

The history of the group, which in the XNUMXst century turned into an international project, was born in a small rehearsal room of the Palace of Culture of the machine-building plant in Donetsk. Young guys (graduates of a music school) gathered here and tried to create in the spirit of an incomparable group The Beatles

The "Iron Curtain" could not fence off the Land of Soviets from the cultural currents of Western countries. The new manner of performance, in which the ensembles "Pesnyary", "Merry Fellows" and other domestic ensembles worked, also inspired young musicians from Donetsk.

The usual equipment was in the Palace of Culture, but the speakers and amplifiers, the missing musical instruments were the future members of the group "Hello, song!" bought it on their own, adding up their own money.

However, at that time, the group, led by the novice composer, pianist, trumpeter Arkady Khaslavsky, was called "Kaleidoscope", simply and with meaning. Then they sold gramophone records with that name.

The musicians successfully performed at discos, and then worked in the Donetsk restaurant. Visitors enjoyed delicious cuisine and soulful music. During the performance in the Caucasus, the representatives of the Syktyvkar Philharmonic liked the team. And a serious organization offered novice musicians a professional stage. True, now the Donetsk “nightingales” performed under the name VIA “Parma”. But it was a professional "ceiling".

In order to get the opportunity to develop towards the musical Olympus and success, the team moved to the Tula Philharmonic in 1975 and changed its name. Now "New Faces" were performing on the stage.

However, the obscure name, which absolutely did not reflect the song repertoire, was not to the liking of either the musicians or the artistic councils, so the following year, the Red Poppies VIA, which included the creative team of Arkady Khaslavsky, went to the Sochi festival of performers.

In 1977, the team was called "Hello, song!" and never changed its name. The composition of the performers, the era changed, but the team "Hello, song!" still pleased and pleases the fans of this ensemble. “Everything will come true”, “Where have you been?” and many other compositions are still loved by listeners.

"Western hooliganism", "Bird of happiness" and recognition

The peak of the popularity of the ensemble "Hello, song!" was in the late 1970s - early 1980s of the XX century. The records of this group were sold out from the shelves of music stores. Then the disco style quickly “burst into fashion”, and the musicians, who kept pace with the times, could not miss this phenomenon and not work in a new and interesting format for themselves.

On the eve of the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, disco records of the group “Hello, song!” appeared on sale, where songs from the group’s repertoire were recorded on one side, and foreign hits on the second. Then, for the first time, Soviet listeners got acquainted with cover versions of foreign songs performed by the musicians of the Hello, Song! group.

At the same time, the now legendary composition “The Bird of Happiness”, written by the creative couple Dobronravov and Pakhmutova, became popular. This song, in addition to the Khaslavsky team, was performed by VIA Nadezhda and Nikolai Gnatyuk.

In 1980, the band presented a new musical surprise. This is another disc from the Melodiya company, which includes almost all the songs written by the band's musicians. It was a unique composition - Mikhail Korol, Viktor Bout, Galina Sheveleva, Leonid Graber and others. The record was in 3rd place in the USSR in terms of popularity after CDs with songs Vladimir Vysotsky и Alla Pugacheva.

In the 1980s (after the release of the fourth album of the group), the ensemble "Hello, song!" gave concerts in Moscow and Leningrad. And they were all sold out.

Grimaces of fate and return

It would seem that success was achieved, but then fate decided that it had pampered the musicians enough. The problems started in 1982. In the Soviet Union, rules were introduced according to which a musician performing on stage was required to have a professional education. It doesn't matter how talented a person is. No diploma - it was impossible to play and sing. Collectives and ensembles began to get rid of "non-professionals".

Khaslavsky, trying to save his creative team, went against the rules, and therefore suffered. Several years in prison and upon his return, a ban on working with a team that he once created. While Arkady Khaslavsky was serving an unfair punishment, the Hello Song! supported by Vyacheslav Dobrynin.

The ensemble was friends with the composer, and he often performed his songs. Without Arkady Khaslavsky, the backbone of the Hello, Song! left the project. Vladimir Sutormin had his own group, where Leonid Graber also left. The Orion group began to play: Mikhail Korol, Anatoly Savushkin and Sergey Chepurnov.

Arkady Khaslavsky after prison was forcibly expelled from his native team. At that difficult time, Iosif Kobzon supported him, accepting him into his team. Officials tried to eliminate Khaslavsky's name from the history of the Hello, Song! group.

Tired of the current situation, the creator of the team left his homeland. Israel accepted him, here the composer was able to create, as before, creating surprisingly bright songs, as if there were no disappointments or hardships. As if life has always been filled with love and joyful moments.

The revival of the group "Hello, song!" took place in 2003. Together with Anatoly Krasavin, who was part of Khaslavsky's team, the composer recruited young musicians and prepared a repertoire. The first concerts of the renewed ensemble Zdravstvuj, pesnia! took place in 2005.
