Antirespect is a musical group from Novosibirsk, which was founded in the mid-2000s. The band's music is still relevant today.
Music critics cannot attribute the work of the Antirespect group to any particular style. However, fans are sure that rap and chanson are present in the musicians' tracks.
History of creation and composition of the Antirespect group
The musical group "Antirespect" appeared at the peak of 2005. The founders of the group were Alexander and Mitya Stepanov. The young fans were longtime fans of Russian rap.
The guys wiped the cassettes of the Kasta, NTL and Dots groups to holes. In the mid-90s, they had an idea - why, in fact, not start creating their own group?
From early childhood, Mityai studied vocals at the Novosibirsk Academic Globus Theater. There, the young man mastered vocals, folklore and classical music. He then became a student at the College of Music, where he learned to play the piano and guitar.
Alexander, like his brother, was fond of music. The brothers were still those hooligans. They graduated from high school with great difficulty and entered college.
In an educational institution, young people got in touch with bad company. And only thanks to music lessons, the brothers returned to the true path.
Initially, the musical group, founded by the Stepanov brothers, was called Antirespect, but already in 2006 the group began to expand. The musicians decided to call themselves AntiRespectFamily (ARF).
The AntiRespectFamily includes like-minded people like the Stepanovs themselves. However, the new members in the group did not stay long.
A couple of years later, Mitya and Alexander were left without partners. In 2008, the musical group was again replenished with two members.
The Antirespect group included Roman Karikh, who performed under the creative pseudonym Kirpich, and the musician Decart. The new members already had some knowledge and experience of performing on stage.
In 2014, another musician joined the group under the pseudonym Stem.
Almost immediately after Stem joined the group, there was unpleasant news for the fans of the musical group - the group split into two parts.
Mitya and Alexander reserved the right to act under the pseudonym "Antirespect", and the other three young people - AntiRespectFamily.
The members further developed their careers as musicians. Moreover, the guys maintained friendly relations.
Music group Antirespect
It seems that the musicians did not really need advice on what genre they should record their musical compositions in. The brothers said that when writing music and lyrics, the genre "grew" by itself.
In an interview, Mityai said that when writing another musical composition, hard rock is clearly audible. Then hard rock turned into rap, chanson and lyrical pop music. The Antirespect group is not associated with a particular style, but this is where all the charm lies.
Only in 2011 did the debut album of the musical group appear. The first album was called "Layouts", in 2013 - "Angels", in 2014 "Domes" and a year later "Late".
In 2015, the group broke up. The Stepanov brothers were not going to give up. Although they honestly admitted that some of the fans left for the rest of the "gang".
In the same period of time, the guys met Mikhail Arkhipov. Previously, they knew about the existence of each other, but were familiar in absentia.
Mikhail Arkhipov really liked the work of the Antirespect group, so he offered to develop the team together.
The acquaintance of young musicians with Arkhipov gives a fresh breath of air to the Antirespect musical group. After working with Mikhail, the Antirespect group performed in major cities of the Russian Federation.
Next, the musicians turned their attention to social networks. Mitya and Alexander communicated with their fans remotely, which helped the group increase the number of fans of their work.
After such a start, the musicians fell silent for a while. Fans were able to enjoy the new work only in 2018. It was this year that the musicians presented the album "Silence".
The top tracks of the disc were the tracks: “I want silence”, “There”, “Domes”, “Forgive me”, “Lonely Shores”, “Broken Phone” and a number of other compositions.
A little later, the Antirespect group, together with the performer Mafik, presented their fans with a new composition, Dark Glasses. The song received many positive responses from music lovers.
Artists say they write songs for the soul. After listening to the tracks, one involuntarily wants to think about being.
It is noteworthy that at the concert, fans of the Antirespect group do not make too much noise, but calmly delve into the meaning of the tracks. The author of most of the songs is Alexander Stepanov.
Group Antirespect now
In 2018, the musical group "Antirespect" continued its tour in Russia. The musicians posted their performances on the social network Vkontakte. It was there that a video for the musical composition "Silence" appeared.
In addition, in 2019 the musicians presented the song "Memory". After the presentation of the new work, the musicians announced that they were going on a big tour.
However, the plans of the Stepanov brothers were not destined to come true. The fact is that the leader of the Antirespect group, Mityai Stepanov, died of pneumonia.
The following entry appeared on the official page of the Vkontakte group: “Comrades. We have to tell you about a very tragic event. The fact is that on September 5, our colleague Mityai Stepanov died.
His will was such that only a narrow circle of friends would know about the death, and Mityai ordered the general masses to be informed after 40 days. Therefore, we consider it our duty to share this news.”
