The birth and composition of the duo

True, very soon Arsentiev left the team, but Yuri Usachev continued to believe in his success. Some time later, Usachev met Eva Polna on the stage of a St. Petersburg nightclub.

The girl then worked as a backing vocalist for a local little-known group. Yuri from the first minutes realized that fate had given him a wonderful chance to restore the group.

A girl with such an appearance and vocal abilities can win the hearts of millions of people. After the concert, Yuri offered Eva a plan for a joint project. The girl immediately agreed to try.

The history of the duo's name

After a fateful meeting, when young musicians realized that they had the same vision of modern music. Since then, the guys have been engaged in creativity and recording songs.

Once, during intensive work in the studio, their friends joked, noting that young people behave very strangely, like guests from outer space. With the light hand of friends Yuri and Eva, the group was called "Guests from the Future."

Eva Polna

Eva Polna was born on May 19, 1975 in Leningrad. Her father (Pole by nationality) was a military medic. Little Eva often visited relatives on her father's side in Poland.

The singer's mother worked as a process engineer at a Leningrad enterprise. Eva from childhood was fond of dancing, singing and painting, and also seriously dreamed of exploring space.

In 1996, she graduated from the Institute of Culture in her native city, then received another education at the College of Arts (St. Petersburg). Eva Polna's musical tastes are jazz music, rock, jungle, artcore.

Yuri Usachev

The founder of the musical duet "Guests from the Future" Yuri Usachev was born on April 19, 1974 in Leningrad. The boy's parents early considered in their son a love of music, so they sent him to a music school.

There, little Yura was able to master several musical instruments at once. The boy managed to learn to play the piano, clarinet, cello, guitar and percussion instruments.

In parallel with attending school and taking lessons at a music school, Yura successfully sang in the choir of the Radio House of Leningrad. After some time, Usachev became seriously interested in electronic music.

Before creating his own group "Guests from the Future", the young man conducted various musical experiments.

He took part in the creation and development of creative projects, relying on electronic music. Created arrangements for many famous performers. Music preferences were jazz, electronic music, rock and pop.

The peak of the group's popularity

The pretentious and mysterious group "Guests from the Future" won the hearts of even those who had not previously been a fan of pop music.

Now everyone remembers the songs of Eva and Yuri with love and nostalgia - people experienced their first loves to the tunes of the group. Almost all the songs sounded subtle sadness, tenderness and sincerity, as well as the sensuality of the words.

Not a single disco, as well as numerous music awards, such as Golden Gramophone, Radio Favorites, Bomb of the Year, were held without the participation of the group.

Around the end of 2006, the work of the team was moving towards sunset. Usachev and Polna were busy in other creative projects, so there was less and less time to work in a team. In 2009, Eva Polna announced the breakup of the group.

Life outside the band

Now Eva Polna performs with solo projects, performing new tracks and old hits. The former soloist of the group recorded two studio albums. The singer is the mother of two beautiful daughters. In addition to concerts, Eva is a successful menswear designer.
