Arijit Singh is an Indian by nationality. The boy was born on April 25, 1987 in the small settlement of Jiaganzha, near the city of Murshidabad (West Bengal). The family had musical traditions. Mother (a native Bengali) taught to play musical instruments, her own aunt taught vocals, and her grandmother instilled a love for traditional songs, based on the work of Rabindranath Tagore.
