Ekaterina Gumenyuk is a singer with Ukrainian roots. The girl is known to a wide audience as Assol. Katya started her singing career early. In many ways, she achieved popularity thanks to the efforts of her oligarch father.

Childhood and youth of Ekaterina Gumenyuk
Ekaterina was born on July 4, 1994 in Donetsk. Her father Igor Gumenyuk is an influential businessman and politician. He is one of the largest coal magnates in Ukraine.
The father is the owner of prestigious and elite private and commercial real estate in various parts of Ukraine, including the Victoria Hotel in Donetsk, the Donetsk City shopping and entertainment center. His share is in the hotel "Rixos Prykarpattya" (Truskavets).
According to Forbes, Igor Nikolayevich is one of the richest residents of Ukraine (according to data, at the end of 2013, his fortune was estimated at $500 million). And, of course, "building" a career as a singer for his daughter was not a problem for him.
Ekaterina, older sister Alena and brother Oleg are accustomed to a luxurious life from early childhood. As Katya said, her parents never refused her and fulfilled almost any whim.
Katya studied at an elite school. She was always accompanied by guards and bodyguards. Interestingly, the guards were on duty even under the doors of school classrooms.
Ekaterina's favorite pastime is shopping. The girl admits that she can go shopping for hours. Spending money gives her pleasure and at the same time gives her emotional release.
Assol's creative path
Katya began to get acquainted with professional vocals at the age of three, and already at the age of 5 she was known in Ukraine. Assol's first song was the track "Scarlet Sails". A colorful video clip was filmed for the musical composition.
In 2000, the first studio album of little Assol was released. In support of her debut disc, the girl organized the first concert program "Assol and her friends".
With a concert program, she went to the major cities of Ukraine. The concert was broadcast on one of the largest TV channels in Ukraine.
In the same period of time, Ekaterina became the owner of two diplomas at once from the Russian Committee for the Registration of Records of the Planet as the youngest singer who released a CD and held a solo concert.
In 2001, the Ukrainian singer updated her concert program. Now the little star performed with the Star Assol program. In the same year, she presented the musical composition "My Ukraine".
The presentation of the track took place in the Palace of Ukraine. Representatives of the Ukrainian show business came to the premiere of the musical composition.
In January 2004, Assol could be seen on the stage of the Song of the Year song festival. The girl appeared in the company of Ani Lorak, Abraham Russo, Irina Bilyk and other popular performers.

Catherine's father and mother considered it necessary to send their daughter to a prestigious British school. Parents wanted Katya to improve her English.
At the school where the girl got, there were only a few Chinese from foreigners, so she had a very difficult time. In addition to attending school, Assol studied academic opera vocals and sang in the school choir.

Initially, the girl studied at the Faculty of Law at London Coventry University, where she mastered the basics of civil law.
In 2016, Katya already had a diploma from a higher educational institution. A year later, she entered the magistracy with a degree in Hotel and Tourism Management.
Ekaterina graduated in 2019. At the moment, the girl is a highly qualified specialist in two completely different areas.

Personal life of Ekaterina Gumenyuk
It's funny, but Katya met her future husband as a teenager. Young people met each other in a British camp. A few years later, Ekaterina and Anatoly met again, but already in a Turkish resort.
Since then, they began to communicate on social networks. Fate decreed that Anatoly and Katya received higher education in the same educational institution.
In 2019, young people decided to get married. Anatoly and Ekaterina played this celebration in the capital of Ukraine. The wedding was hosted by Katya Osadchaya and Yuri Gorbunov, the guests were entertained by Verka Serdyuchka, MONATIK and Tina Karol, several musical compositions were performed by the bride herself.
Judging by the photos, the lovers are crazy about each other. Journalists discussed the magnificent wedding for a long time, and even said that Assol was preparing to become a mother. But the girl herself did not confirm this information.
Singer Assol today
In 2016, Assol became a participant in the Ukrainian music competition "Voice of the Country". She came to the project under the name of Ekaterina Gumenyuk, abandoning the well-known pseudonym Assol. On the project, the singer performed the musical composition "Ocean Elzy" "I will not give up without a fight."
Svyatoslav Vakarchuk did not appreciate the efforts of the young singer, but Potap was delighted with the performance, and took Assol to his team. At the duel stage, Gumenyuk lost to Nastya Prudius, but Ivan Dorn got Katya out of the pit, taking her to his team.
Assol did not win, she was not even among the finalists. But the girl said that participation in the project was an invaluable experience for her.
By the end of 2016, the singer released several new musical compositions, among which were: "Ships", "One Single Time". In addition, the girl presented the track "My Mom" in a new arrangement.
