Ekaterina Bardysh (real name of the artist) was born on May 14, 1993 in the city of Myski, Kemerovo region. She spent her childhood in provincial Omsk.

Creative way
In 2015, Ekaterina Bardysh was busy in the production of When the Mountains Fall. The folk direction inspired the girl so much that she began to get involved in ethnic music, shamanism and folk traditions.
Because of the work on the production, Katya's health deteriorated. She fell ill with pneumothorax, and for several months she had to leave the theater. Oddly enough, it went to the girl's benefit. During the rehabilitation period, she began to write songs and sing.
Actually, during this period of time, Ekaterina Bardysh had a creative pseudonym Drummatix. The creative pseudonym of the singer is a neologism. He combined several areas in which the artist found herself - theater and music. Drum in this case includes two explanations - the words "drums, drums", as well as drama.
Already in 2016, thanks to the producers of Diamond Style Productions, Ekaterina presented her debut track. The presentation of the song was followed by several instrumentals that were posted online for sale. One of these compositions was bought by members of the popular bands Grotto and 25/17 to create the track In the Same Boat. Later, the composition was included in the album "Toward the Sun".

Ekaterina Bardysh started producing the group's album "Grotto" called "Mowgli Kids". In 2017, the members of the team, unexpectedly for fans, announced that Katya had become a full-fledged member of the team. The girl was responsible for vocals and some instrumental parts.
In the same year, the guys presented a joint disc. We are talking about the album "Icebreaker" Vega "". And then came the minion "Keys". A year later, the premiere of the video "Inhabitants of Paradise" took place, in the frame of which was Drummatix.
Solo work of the artist
In 2019, Drummatix talked about leaving the band. The girl decided to realize herself as a solo singer. In 2019, she became a member of the Songs project on the TNT channel. Basta complimented Catherine, but, unfortunately, she could not go further. In the spring of the same year, the performer collaborated with the 25/17 team, working on the release of the collection Recall Everything - 2 as a backing vocalist.
2019 has been a year of incredible musical experimentation for Drummatix. The fact is that she began to create in such a musical genre as rap. In an interview, Bardysh said that she wants to develop further and does not limit herself to any particular genre.
In June 2019, the performer released a video clip for the track "Namaste", created in collaboration with blogger and TV presenter Ilya Dobrovolsky. A few months later, there was another surprise for fans of her work. The fact is that Katya released her debut mini-album "Tailagan", which included 6 tracks.
At the end of summer, Katya held her first solo concert. The performance of the singer took place in the cultural capital of Russia - St. Petersburg, on the stage of VNVNC. The audience received the singer so warmly that she decided to repeat the performance. But already in the Northern capital, and also gave a concert in Moscow itself. Soon Drummatix presented a new track, which was called "Holy Moshpit".
Participation of Drummatix in the "Independent battle Hip-Hop.ru"
In the autumn of the same 2019, Ekaterina became a participant in the 17th season of the Independent Battle of Hip-Hop.ru. She brilliantly performed the song "In a long journey." For their performance, Drummatix received high marks not only from the audience, but also from the jury. The girl reached the third doubles round, but gave way to the MC Luchnik.
In winter, Ekaterina again collaborated with the 25/17 rap group. Drummatix took part in the recording of the disc “Remember everything. Part 4 (1). Carpets (2019)". She recorded a cover version for the track "Bitter Fog".

The singer's discography was replenished with a full-fledged album "On the Horizon", which included 8 worthy tracks. This is a unique album, because the compositions in it, in which Ekaterina performs rap, are combined with songs with regular vocals.
Drummatix continues to create. The singer does not hide the fact that the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic has slightly changed her plans. But, despite this, she continued to work and collaborate with other representatives of the Russian rap party. The artist has worked with Rem Digga, Big Russian Boss, Papalam Recordings.
