Abraham Zhanovich Ipdzhyan, who now performs on stage under the pseudonym Abraham Russo, was born on July 21, 1969 in Aleppo, Syria.
He turned out to be the middle child in a large family, in which, besides him, they raised an older brother and a younger sister. The father of the future star, Jean, a citizen of France, served in Syria as a legionnaire of the French foreign legion.
He was a World War II veteran. Jean met his future wife in the hospital. Unfortunately, the father of the future performer died when the boy was not even 7 years old.
Naturally, the mother of three children, Maria, was forced to move from Syria to Paris.
Abraham lived in Paris for certain years of his life, then the family moved to Lebanon. There the boy was sent to study in a Lebanese monastery. It was in Lebanon that he began to sing when he took part in religious events and became a believer.
In addition, the young man discovered his ability to learn foreign languages. He mastered English, French, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, Armenian and Hebrew.

The entrepreneur suggested that the singer move to Russia. The young man did not think long, packed his suitcase and went to the capital of the Russian Federation. It was this moment that can be considered the start of the professional singing career of Abraham Russo.
By the way, until now there are disputes, whose surname the performer took to create a stage name (father or mother), however, according to Abraham, Russo is his mother's maiden name.

At first, Russo sang at the Prague restaurant, but this did not last long and professionals led by producer Iosif Prigogine took up his career. The compositions, which later became hits for the singer, were composed by Viktor Drobysh.
