The Black Veil Brides group is considered by music critics to be part of the new generation of glam. Performers create classic hard rock in clothes that correspond to the style canons of the 1980s.

In the short time of the existence of the group, the musicians managed to gain popularity not only in the United States of America. The tracks of the Black Veil Brides group are listened to in almost all European countries and the CIS.

The team chose this genre of music not by chance. The choice of the band was influenced by the legends of glam and heavy metal - Metallica, Kiss, Pantera. Musicians call their style rock and roll. Despite this, the notes of hard rock, alternative metal and glam are clearly audible in their tracks.

The history of the creation and composition of the Black Veil Brides group

It all started in 2006 with musician Andy Biersack. The young man dreamed of performing on stage, but for this he lacked a team of like-minded people.

Soon Biersack invited the talented Johnny Herold to take the place of the guitarist. The function of the bass player was taken over by Phil Kenedell. Another guitarist, Nate Ship, joined the guys a year after the band was formed.

The last two musicians did not stay long under the wing of Black Veil Brides. They left the group in 2008 to pursue other projects.

The musicians took on the role of bassist Ashley Purdy. In 2009, rhythm guitarist, violinist and backing vocalist Jeremy Ferguson, better known as Jinks, joined the band. Christian Koma sat on the drum set, and Jake Pitts, who performs with Black Veil Brides to this day, became the lead guitarist.

It is interesting that initially the musicians took the creative pseudonym Biersack, and only after some time the group began to be called Black Veil Brides.
