The history of the creation and composition of the Cheese People team

As noted above, the group was born on the territory of Samara in 2004 (according to some sources in 2003). Talented musicians Anton Zalygin and Yury Momsin stand at the origins of the band. The latter left the musical project almost immediately after the release of the debut album.

Initially, the guys tried to record hip-hop compositions. To add melody to the songs, the musicians invited Olga Chubarova, who took the place of the backing vocalist.

Olga's invitation to the group helped to emphasize the beauty of the tracks. Meanwhile, she introduced the members of the Cheese People to English-language funk and disco-punk. Further, a talented drummer in the person of Mikhail Zentsov and bassist Sergey Chernov joined the line-up.

A couple of years after the official formation of the group, the guys presented a demo collection. The record was called Psycho Squirrel. The work quickly spread over the Internet. The musicians had doubts about whether music lovers would accept their talent. But, soon all doubts were dispelled away.

“We handed over the collection with tracks to Dmitry Gaiduk. He put the record on the Internet. In principle, we did not expect such a success. But soon they started calling us from Moscow.”

The record, which contained 17 cool tracks, amazed critics and fans with the boldness of the lyrics and energy. This is exactly what the public lacked. The works included in the demo cannot be called commercial. But, this is where the beauty of the work done by the musicians lies.

During the creative activity - the composition has changed several times. Today (2021) "cheese men" cannot be imagined without Chubarova, Zalygin and drummer Ilya Suslinnikov.

The creative path of the Cheese People group

The team in a fairly short period of time has become one of the most successful groups in the Russian Federation. In 2007, Gleb Lisichkin took up the promotion of the team.

Some time later, the guys performed on the same stage with Datarock at the independent Stereoleto forum. In addition, they took a deep breath in the capital of the Russian Federation.

A year later, they represented their native country at Be2Gether in Lithuania. Then it became known about the release of the official debut LP. In 2009 they re-released their debut album with a remix. The musicians mixed the collection in Japan.

The next few years, the musicians traveled to different parts of the world. Exhausting concerts, although they took the last strength from the guys, nevertheless increased the number of fans.

In 2010, the team's discography became richer by one more LP. The musicians pleased with the release of Well Well Well. The band then toured extensively again, and three years later Mediocre Ape was released in two parts.

Creative break of the team and the premiere of the Russian-language album

This was followed by a break of 5 years. The musicians were engaged in everything except the buildup of the group. During this period of time they released only one single. We are talking about the work of Sacrifice.

In 2018 they presented The Pink Color in Russian. Also this year, the premiere of several bright and meaningful videos took place. After the release of the record, the musicians said:

“A danceable and meaningful album - that's what I want to say about the new work. It would not be superfluous to say that this is the first "adult" collection. We have become wiser, and this is reflected in the music.”

In 2019, fans welcomed the release of the Dark Ages Remixes EP and the track "Contredans" with joy.
