In 1994, music lovers were able to get acquainted with the work of a new musical group. We are talking about a duet consisting of two charming guys - Denis Klyaver and Stas Kostyushin.
The musical group Chai Together at one time managed to win a special place in the world of show business. Tea together lasted for many years. During this period of time, the performers gave their fans more than one hit.
By the way, if performances were commonplace for Stas Kostyushkin, then for Klyaver, going on stage was something new, since before that the young man had performed only on the school stage.
Childhood and youth of Denis Klyaver
Denis Klyaver is a native Muscovite. The young man was born in 1975 in a creative family.
Denis's father was a popular comedian and founder of the humorous entertainment program "Gorodok" Ilya Oleinikov.
Mom also loved art. She was engaged in vocals, although she was a chemist-technologist by education.
Not to say that little Denis was very fond of music. But it has already happened that in any intelligent family it was very important to send your child to additional classes or some kind of circle.
So, my mother decided to enroll her son in a music school.
However, later it became a good idea. Denis Klyaver liked to study at the music school.
Already in adolescence, a young man composes the first musical compositions. It seems that the question of where Denis will study after graduation was not raised by his parents.
Denis becomes a student at the Mussorgsky Leningrad Music College.
The young man stayed at the school for three whole courses. Further, Denis repays his debt to the service. During his stay in the army, the future singer of the big stage was involved in a military brass band.
After military service, the young man continues his studies at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory (trumpet class), which he graduated in 1996.
Studying in an educational institution brings a young person pleasure. Now it is obvious that Denis Klyaver wants to prove himself as a singer.
Moreover, the connections of Ilya Oleinikov allow pushing the young man onto the stage. Despite the fact that many accuse Denis of getting on stage only thanks to his father, Klyaver fights off these accusations.
Behind him is a diploma of graduation from a prestigious conservatory, and if someone doubts the vocal abilities of the performer, then they can simply not listen to his songs. This opinion is shared by Denis.
The creative path of Denis Klyaver
In 1994, Denis Klyaver became part of the popular musical group Chai Together.
The first performance of the duo took place at the Youth Palace. On that day, the new Europa Plus radio station was just opening.
The first producer - Igor Kuryokhin - did everything to ensure that the guys noticed. In particular, under the guidance of Igor, the guys recorded their debut album "I Will Not Forget".
It is interesting that in the musical group Denis took the place of not only a performer, but also a composer. Part of the work belongs to Klyaver.
The performers have repeatedly proved their success at music competitions: “The Big Apple of New York”, as well as “First Course named after V. Reznikov” - a competition at which Klyaver showed his talent as a composer and received a bronze award for the song “I'll Go”.
In 1996, the musical group went on their first tour. The guys organized concerts thanks to the material support of Mikhail Shufutinsky.
The money that the guys managed to collect from the concerts, they spent on recording a new video clip. However, this decision turned out to be a failure. The clip was not commercially successful.
A real breakthrough in the work of the Chai Together group came when the guys met the talented Laima Vaikule. The singer invited young performers with her on a tour.
Tea together and Laima Vaikule spent about two years on tour. Denis Klyaver admitted that it was Lyme who taught him how to create colorful shows at minimal cost.
In 1999, Chai organized a solo concert together. Interestingly, this time the author of the arrangements and all the musical compositions was Denis Klyaver. At that time, the young performer had already begun to think about a solo career.
For a couple of years of work (from 1998 to 2000), the musicians released three albums: "Fellow traveler", "Native", "For the sake of you". Many musical compositions have become real "folk" hits.
In the early 2000s, the musicians created a new concert program, calling it "Kino". With this program, the guys traveled all over the Russian Federation and neighboring countries.
In 2001, the musicians present one of their most popular songs. We are talking about the song "Affectionate mine."
In 2002, Tea Together received the Golden Gramophone award.
During the existence of the musical group, many popular albums have been released. For example, "Sorry", "White Dress", "Morning Tea" and others. The musical compositions of the duet became a hit one after another.
Since 2008, the performers have been producing, the duet has collaborated with such performers as Zara, Jasmine and Tatyana Bulanova.
Despite the success of the Chai Together group, information began to appear in the press more and more often that the musical group was about to break up.
Kostyushin and Klyaver denied the information in every possible way and even released an album in 2012. However, a split could not be avoided.
The musical group ceased to exist as a single entity. Klyaver and Kostyushin decided to build a solo career.
And if most of the performers who worked in a duet disperse, maintaining friendly relations, then these musicians were not destined to remain either friends or just good acquaintances.
Former colleagues remained enemies.
In 2011, Denis Klyaver began working on a solo record. During this period of time, the musician has already managed to release several bright video clips: “Give”, “You are alone”, “Your hands”.
Only in 2013, fans of Denis's work were able to listen to the tracks of the first solo album, entitled "Not like everyone else."
In addition to his career as a singer, Denis Klyaver began to show himself in other projects. So, the Russian singer became a member of various television projects.

He made himself known in the show "Circus with the Stars", in which he performed with Stas Kostyushkin, as well as "Two Stars", where his partner was actress Valeria Lanskaya.
Denis Klyaver also got several movie roles. So, he played a policeman in Stepanych's Thai Voyage.
In addition, the artist got a cameo role in Stepanych's Spanish Voyage. Interestingly, the main role in this picture was played by Denis's father, Ilya Oleinikov. Klyaver also appeared in the Russian TV series "My Fair Nanny".
In 2017, the leader of Tui spoke in the voice of Denis Klyaver in the cartoon "Moana". According to the cartoon, Denis's wife was Yulianna Karaulova, with whom they together recorded the musical composition "Native House" as part of this project.
The Russian performer admitted that dubbing was a very useful experience for him.
In 2016, Denis Klyaver presented the second disc with the loud title "Love lives for three years ...?"
In the same 2016, Denis won the Golden Gramophone Award for the musical composition Let's Start Again.

Personal life of Denis Klyaver
The Russian performer was married three times. For the first time he married the Shufutinsky ballet actress Elena Shestakova.
This marriage cannot be called successful. Denis admitted that he was in a hurry to take his beloved to the registry office. For a year of family life, the couple did not have children.
The second chosen one of Klyaver was a dancer from the Laima Vaikule ballet show. Denis lived with Yulia for 8 years.
Then the couple began to have family problems and discord. Denis, as a creative person, these relationships no longer brought pleasure.
He wanted to file for divorce, but Yulia was against it. As a result, the couple divorced only three years later. A son was born in the family, who was named Timothy.
Since 2010, Klyaver has been married to Irina Fedetova. They hid their relationship for a long time.
The couple had a son named Daniel. In addition, Denis adopted Irina's daughter from the first bank. The Klyavers have a family business - they are designers of clothes for dogs.

The Russian singer continues to be creative. In 2017, Denis released his third solo album, called Love-Silence. The singer regularly releases songs and new videos.

As Klyaver himself wrote on social networks, this is his “manifesto for all gadget-addicted”.
In 2019, the singer presented the video clip "How beautiful you were." Interestingly, the main character of the video clip was the son of Denis Klyaver from his first marriage - Timofey.

Denis Klyaver at the end of the last spring month of 2021 replenished his discography with a new album. The record was called "Luck will find you." The compilation was topped by 10 tracks. Recall that this is the fourth independent album by Denis.
