Childhood and youth of the singer Elena Terleeva
The future celebrity was born on March 6, 1985 in the city of Surgut. Her mother was a music teacher, from whom little Lena inherited her talent. In the summer of the same year, the head of the family was transferred to Urengoy, where the family settled for a long time.
At first, the parents dreamed of sending their daughter to a ballet school. But it turned out that the girl had health problems, and she could not dance ballet. Then Lena was assigned to a music school. The first years she studied piano, and later the girl showed an inclination towards vocals.
Elena also studied at a regular school, where she liked the humanities the most. Although the girl had a stubborn and reserved character, she often took part in various olympiads, competitions and competitions.
And often Lena won. Thanks to her parents, the girl developed her talents and chose the right direction for arranging her future life.
Elena Terleeva: trip to Moscow
At one of the music competitions, Lena was noticed by a representative of the Morning Star program. He invited the girl to go to Moscow and take part in the program. And already in 2000, Terleeva won it.
It was after this incident that Lena finally decided who she wants to become. After graduation, she immediately moved to the capital, where she independently found a job and rented an apartment. The girl got a job at a modeling agency, became a manager, but even then she did not forget about music.
Terleeva tried to sing almost everywhere - in nightclubs, restaurants, at meetings of friends. And in 2002, she decided to get a higher education and entered the Institute of Contemporary Art. And since Lena passed the entrance exams with excellent marks, she was accepted for the second year.

Already in 2003, Terleeva became a member of the "Star Factory - 2". The post of producer was then held by Maxim Fadeev, and unknown artists became the singer's competitors:

- Polina Gagarina;

- Masha Rzhevskaya.
For four months in a row, the girl, along with other contestants, studied vocals, choreography, stage speech. Even the members' private lives became known to the public, not just their performances. Hidden cameras were installed in the star house where the program participants lived.
Experienced teachers helped the girl to reveal her talent and not be afraid of the stage. As a result, together with Terleeva, Temnikova and Gagarina got into the final. During these months, Elena released several hits that later became famous.
Further career as an artist
After the end of the program, Lena resumed her studies and decided to devote more time to her. Although vocal lessons did not stop. The girl also began to study choreography, worked part-time in various jazz bands.
In 2005, Elena graduated from the university and began working on her solo album. Her first album included several songs:

The singer's hits were popular, they were played on radio and television. Even the Moscow government noted her work - the girl was given the title "Golden Voice of Russia". In 2005, she became one of those who claimed to perform in the Eurovision Song Contest.
In 2007, the singer released the hit "The Sun". She received several awards at once:

Later, the artist began to independently write music and lyrics for other performers. She created the soundtrack for the film "We are from the Future", although this was not even indicated in the credits, which upset the singer very much. Indeed, in the film they indicated the performer of her song - Anastasia Maksimova, a famous opera singer.
Since 2009, Terleeva began to develop in a new direction - she tried herself in the styles of soul and blues. The singer collaborated with saxophonist Alex Novikov and the Agafonnikov Band orchestra. Together with them, she developed the first jazz project.
Artists began to perform in many cities, as well as in various concert halls and theaters in Moscow. The audience liked the new style of performance. And already in 2012, Elena received the "People's Treasure" award. A year later, she released two new albums - Prehistory and The Sun. The first album contained only jazz compositions, and the second included the old hits of the singer.

The media knows almost nothing about Elena's personal life. She always carefully concealed her relationship from the public. Therefore, no one can say for sure who exactly she met.
