Estradarada is a Ukrainian project originating from the Makhno Project group (Oleksandr Khimchuk). Date of birth of the musical group - 2015.
The nationwide popularity of the group was brought by the performance of the musical composition "Vitya needs to go out." This track can be called the visiting card of the Estradarada group.
The composition of the musical group
The group included Alexander Khimchuk (vocals, lyrics, direction) and Vyacheslav Kondrashin (keyboards, backing vocals). The guys started their creative activity in 2015.
However, nothing was heard about the duet for several years. They were not very interested in music lovers and music critics, although they released tracks.
In 2017, the guys presented to the public a musical composition that became a real hit, "Vitya needs to go out." This and other tracks of the musical group are a lounge beat, on which satirical and dreamy, and sometimes absurd texts are laid.
The video clip “Vitya needs to get out” on YouTube video hosting has gained more than 10 million views in a few months. The track became a key hit in Ukraine in the first half of 2017, along with the compositions of Ivan Dorn's Collaba and "Melting Ice" by the "Mushrooms" group. The track gained popularity far beyond the borders of Ukraine.
An interesting event was when, in the same 2017, the mayor of the city of Novokuznetsk posted a video clip of a Ukrainian musical group on the official channel of the administration. Thus, he wanted to attract the inhabitants of the city to come out for a subbotnik.
The video clips of the Estradarada group deserve special attention. The clips were directed by the soloist of the group Alexander Khimchuk. Laconic, stylish, seasoned and with a well-thought-out plot - this is how you can characterize the video clips of the musical group.
Creativity of the Estradarada group
In the spring of 2017, the musical group presented their debut album "Disco of the Century". The album includes musical compositions in Russian, Ukrainian and English.
The record "Disco of the Century" is an assortment that consists of techno, house, soul, disco and indie pop. The debut album was liked not only by music lovers and fans, but also by music critics.
In the same 2017, the Ukrainian group put many awards into its piggy bank. The musicians were nominated in the “Breakthrough of the Year” category of the “Muz-TV” award and “Best Start” of the RU.TV award. In addition, the Estradarada group received the "Song of the Year 2017" award.
Alexander Khimchuk admitted in one of his interviews that he wrote the tracks that were included in the Disco of the Century album at night. When a journalist asked the artist: “Are there any rituals before starting to work?”, Khimchuk answered: “Before starting work, I need to eat well.”
In the same year, the second studio album Ultra Moda Futura was released. The second studio album turned out to be more serious. The soloists of the group minimized jokes and absurdity, recorded a pleasant adult electronic record.
In total, the second album included 10 tracks. The top hits of the Ultra Moda Futura album were the tracks: “Every river dreams of becoming a sea”, “There will be no surprises” and “Sometimes”.
Estradarada tour
However, not a single track enjoyed the popularity that the track “Vitya needs to go out” achieved. After the presentation of Ultra Moda Futura, the soloists of the Estradarada group went on a big tour.
Despite the busy tour schedule, the guys did not forget to please their fans with new hits. So, in 2018, the musicians presented a new single Muzica Electronica Moldova (Goptsatsa).
Later, the soloists posted a video clip on the official YouTube channel with the caption “All residents of Moldova are big romantics and love to arrange sudden holidays, and women are especially radiant, just like chandeliers.”
2018 was a successful year for fans of the Estradarada group. This year the musicians presented the musical composition “Sometimes to dance”. Alexander, as always, could not resist commenting: "Sometimes dancing is an ode to indifference."
In 2019, the Ukrainian team presented three singles at once: "Minimal", "Ramayana" and "Champion". The tracks got into the rotation of Ukrainian radio stations, but, unfortunately, they did not arouse increased interest among music lovers.
Despite the fact that the group does not release new albums, their concerts always cause a stir. What's the secret? Music critics are sure that the popularity began in 2017. The track “Vitya needs to go out” is to blame.
Musical group Estradarada today
Alexander Khimchuk at the beginning of September 2021 released a new disc of his Estradarada project - "Artifacts". The collection was headed by 9 different sounding songs. You can listen to the LP on all streaming platforms.
On January 20, 2022, P. PAT and ESTRADARADA have a promising collaboration. Khimchuk shared with fans the name of the piece of music. The song "Deep" is eagerly awaited by the "fans". The description says:
“A collab of unique artists who, like no one else, know what a real dance song is. Soft, dynamic uk garage sound and lyrics - this is where everyone can recognize themselves. In short, a topic for those who miss the pace of 135 bpm…”.
