Factor-2 was one of the most popular musical groups of the early 2000s. The duet of two guys was especially popular among romantic girls.
However, the guys also have fans in the form of representatives of the stronger sex. The repertoire of the Factor-2 group is a musical assortment, which consists of lyrics, everyday stories and irony.
It is difficult to imagine the stage of the beginning of the "zero" without such musical compositions as "Beauty", "War" and "Slut". At the beginning of the creative career of the Factor-2 group, many radio stations reacted negatively to the work of Ilya Podstrelov and Vladimir Panchenko.
But it was enough for the group to find the first fans, how everything turned out, and the guys' tracks began to take a leading position in the charts of Russian radio stations.
The composition of the musical group Factor-2
Ilya Podstrelov and Vladimir Panchenko are the main founders of the Russian musical group. Ilya was born on June 17, 1980 in Vorkuta. He was into music. The young man graduated from music school and college.
In 1995, Podstrelov moved to Germany with his family. The move did not affect Ilya's passion for music. In Germany, the guy began to compose poetry and record music.
The second soloist Vladimir Panchenko is from Kazakhstan. Vladimir was born on August 28, 1981 in the provincial village of Tyulkubask. Like Ilya, Vladimir from early childhood pleased his loved ones with excellent vocals and perfect pitch.
Panchenko did not miss classes at the music school. Later, Vladimir's family also moved to Germany. It was here that the meeting between Podstrelov and Panchenko took place.
In 2012, after the collapse of the group, Vladimir Panchenko continued to perform with the repertoire of the Factor-2 collective. Ilya in this case was replaced by Andrey Kamaev.
For a long time, fans did not perceive Andrei, and the group's popularity then decreased significantly.
Andrei was born on October 13, 1970 in the town of Serpukhov near Moscow.
The singer has come a long way before "lighting his star". Kamaev sang in cafes, restaurants and corporate parties.
The turning point in the biography of the singer was his acquaintance with Vladimir Panchenko. He appreciated Andrey's potential and invited him to join his group.
Music group Factor-2
In 1999, Vladimir and Ilya, who had long dreamed of their own group, decided to bring all their ideas to life. There were no disagreements about the theme of musical compositions - both Panchenko and Podstrelov preferred romantic ballads, rhythmic melodies and poems that touch the heart about friendship, love, loneliness and betrayal.
And if the guys did not think for a long time about the theme of the compositions, then they had to sweat over the name of the group. At first, Ilya and Vladimir chose between such names as "Zone 19" and "Berlin Dudes".
Under some of the names, the young guys even managed to give their first performances. However, later the name "Factor-2" came to Vladimir's head.
The first performances of young performers cannot be called successful. Still, there was a lack of experience. But it was the performances of young artists that allowed them to "tread the path" to the big stage.
One of the concerts of the Factor-2 group was heard by DJ Vital (also known as Vitaly Moizer). Moiser offered the performers cooperation. Vladimir and Ilya accepted the DJ's proposals, they soon began to work, and music lovers heard the "lively" repertoire of the Factor-2 group.
Gradually, the guys began to win fans and form their audience. Initially, the names of Ilya Podstrelov and Vladimir Panchenko were known exclusively in Germany. But soon the songs of the performers were heard in Russia.
The guys owe their popularity to the leader of the musical group "Hands Up!" Sergei Zhukov. In addition to his own project, Zhukov was engaged in the repertoire of young performers, helping them win over Russian music lovers.
The acquaintance of Zhukov and the soloists of the Factor-2 group took place in absentia. First, a disc with the guys' records fell into the hands of Sergei. The tracks impressed Zhukov, and he began to lure Ilya and Vladimir to Russia.
The soloists of the Factor-2 group did not want to leave Germany. However, they soon decided to move. Time has shown that this was the right decision.
Cooperation with Sergey Zhukov brought two albums to the fans of the group at once. The debut disc was called Factor-2, and the second disc was called “In Our Style”.
The songs of the two albums turned out to be so successful that they immediately got to the top of the music charts.
In the same period of time, the performers presented the video clip "Beauty". The clip was accepted by the fans of the group with a bang. A separate success of the musical group, of course, was the coveted Golden Gramophone award, which the guys received in 2005.
Immediately after that, the performers went on a big tour. First, the Factor-2 group gave a number of their concerts in Russia, and then the young people switched to foreign music lovers. In the same period of time, the group released their third studio album, Stories from Life.
The title of the third album speaks for itself. In this disc, the performers have collected funny and sad stories from life. The disc was released in huge circulation, confirming the high status of the performers.
In these life stories, everyone could recognize himself. Perhaps it was precisely such lyrical compositions that helped the soloists of the Factor-2 group to gain loyal fans.
Interestingly, the third album was released in several versions at once - Light and Hard. The main difference is the absence of foul language in the Light album.
In parallel with the release of two collections for the third album, Vladimir Panchenko and Ilya Podstrelov worked on filming a video clip for the musical composition "Stepfather".
This work is notable for the fact that initially the musicians created three endings at once. The final version of the clip helped the performers to choose their fans. Voting took place among the viewers of Muz-TV.
In 2007, the soloists of the group terminated the official contract with Sergei Zhukov. The performers said that by 2007, relations with the leader of the Hands Up! have deteriorated very much. However, the musicians were silent about the cause of the discord.
Until 2012, the group managed to release several more albums and collections of the best musical compositions (according to fans).
Each musical composition that appeared in the Factor-2 musical group is an undoubted hit. That is why, when the fans read the information that the musicians stopped working in a duet, they did not believe it and thought that the news was a fiction of the “yellow press”.
However, Vladimir and Ilya still had to confirm the information regarding the collapse of the musical group. In 2012, Ilya and Vladimir announced that from now on, each of them will create separately from each other.
In one of the interviews, Ilya said that the reason for the collapse of the team was the financial issue. In 2013, Ilya and Vladimir already performed as solo performers. But it is noteworthy that on the poster of each was the inscription "Factor-2".
A few years later, Panchenko decided to give the group a second wind. However, he did not want to return Ilya to the group. In place of Ilya Panchenko invited an unknown Andrey Kamaev.
Fans were not very happy with this alignment. However, they had no choice but to accept Kamaev. Thus, the Factor-2 group again took up the conquest of the musical Olympus.
Group Factor-2 today
At the moment, Andrey Kamaev and Vladimir Panchenko continue to delight fans with new hits. In 2019, Russian performers even managed to present the new album "Letters" to fans of their work.
Especially popular among the fans of the group "Factor-2" are such tracks as: "Brown-eyed", "Queen", "Sorry", "Real boys" and "I'm so tired."
