Childhood and youth of Philip Levshin
The artist's date of birth is October 3, 1992. He was born in the city of Kyiv. According to the memoirs of the artist himself, he never had a happy and calm childhood.
It didn’t work out not only with family members, but also with classmates who continually mocked the guy. Philip suffered from bullying, but he could not go against the crowd. He chose a different path for himself.
“I never hid the fact that I was never digested into the spirit. I was a stranger among my own, not only at school. Once I told myself that I would become popular - and then they would definitely love me. I grew up in the most aggressive society. I felt like the protagonist of everyone's favorite fairy tale about the Ugly Duckling. Maybe they didn’t like me, because they thought that I was a nerd ... Although, I don’t understand anything anymore ... ”.
As a teenager, the young man had two hobbies - music and makeup. The son's hobbies were not shared by his own mother, Tatyana Selyukova. They often quarreled and did not talk for a long time because of Philip's hobby. It was difficult for a woman to accept her son, because the words “make-up” and “man” did not fit in her head.
He liked to shock the audience with flashy makeup, and the woman did not share the aspirations of her loved one. When Philip became already a popular artist, his mother gave comments regarding the situation in the family: “I am against the fact that my son changes his appearance so drastically. Yes, he is a free and creative person. But, I can’t understand one thing: why these lenses, makeup, pink blouses. I love and will always love my son. But we do not communicate on his initiative. I'm always for it."
After receiving a matriculation certificate, Philip became a student at KNUKI. The young man chose for himself the profession of manager of social and cultural activities. In 2015, Levshin held the coveted diploma in his hands.

2011 turned his life upside down. He took part in the rating music show "X-Factor". Levshin made the most pleasant impression on the host of the project when they met. On stage, a young man performed the track “I can’t take it anymore” by the band Quest Pistols.
From the jury, he received 4 "no". The guy was so upset by the decision of the judges that he sent them to three letters. Everyone except Sergey Sosedov fell under the distribution of the artist. Kondratyuk noticed that security was already waiting for him at the exit. Rapper Seryoga dedicated a verse to him, at the end noting that he is still far from Philip, and he is still “Filippok”.
But it seems that the main goal of the young man was hype. After participating in the project, he really attracted the attention of Ukrainian viewers.

He woke up a famous person. Ukrainian producer Yuriy Falyosa approached him and offered to help promote his career. After that, Levshin's career began to gain momentum. Yuri helped to release an impressive number of bright clips to his ward.
In 2016, the artist took part in the pre-casting for Eurovision. Not without incidents, which was so characteristic of Philip. The artist "leaked" the banned video to the Internet. He ran around the pavilion with mouse ears and said that he had recorded a mega-hit that a famous foreign producer liked. The performance turned out to be trash - the ears constantly slipped, and he changed the words in the test several times.
A couple of years later, he appeared in the studio "Male / Feminine. Dolls. But he did not come to the show alone, but with his mother. Philip spoke about how difficult life is for him. Levshin shared that more than anything he lacks friendly support and understanding. In 2019, he addressed fans with an unusual statement. The artist changed his creative pseudonym. Now he presented himself as "His Highness Philip". Under the new name, the premiere of the video "Prince of Showbiz" took place. Then he said that Philip Kirkorov bought several tracks from him.
He kept his blog on social networks. The artist traveled frequently. In addition, he spoke out in support of LGBT communities and called for breaking stereotypes.
Philip Levshin: illness and death
In 2016, he was hospitalized with a fatal diagnosis. Then the fans kept "fists" for their idol. Pancreonecrosis of the pancreas could have cost him his life. Philip courageously endured about two dozen operations. He lost more than 20 kilograms of weight and looked frankly ill. Doctors did not give positive forecasts.
He recovered for a long time, but still returned to work. Since 2018, the singer has been releasing works whose main message was to appreciate life.
“After many operations, I regained consciousness. Then I found out how many people support me. Then I realized that I simply had to live. I am ready to start creating with renewed vigor, ”the artist addressed the fans with these words.
He passed away on November 12, 2020. On the morning of November 12, after a series of complex operations due to a relapse of the disease, Philip's heart could not stand it and stopped. The death of the artist was reported by his friends on Facebook.
