"Voice of Omeriki" is a rock band that was formed in 2004. This is one of the most scandalous underground bands of our time. The musicians of the team prefer to work in the genres of Russian chanson, rock, punk rock and glam punk.
History of creation and composition of the group
It has already been noted above that the group was formed in 2004 on the territory of Moscow. Talented musicians - Rodion Lubensky and Alexander Vorobyov - stand at the origins of the collective. By the way, the authorship of Rodion belongs to the lion's share of the music and lyrics of the group.
Both musicians were part of the SHIPR team until the moment their own brainchild was founded. The guys already had some weight in the music industry. Loyal fans followed their work.
The guys rehearsed without leaving home. At the time of the group's founding, they did not have the opportunity to rent a professional studio. The first public performance of the newly minted band took place a year later at the Unplugged café.

And now for the genre. Musicians define it like this: "alco-chanson-glamor-punk." Glamor-punk, according to the members of the team, is a combination of incongruous. “Chanson” originates from the music of the streets, “city song”, and “alco” is a prefix that characterizes alcoholic drinks as an element that accompanies any festive ceremonies in Russia.
The band's tracks often feature three musical instruments - accordion, violin and guitar. For this, the guys began to be compared with the Gogol Bordello team. Musicians of the "Voice of Omeriki" are skeptical about such comparisons. Firstly, the themes of the compositions do not intersect. And secondly, according to the musicians, they create unique music that has no equal.
The creative path and music of the group "Voice of Omeriki"
The group's discography was opened by the LP "Reality Show" in MS format. The album was later released in CD format. The musicians mixed the collection on the label REBEL RECORDS. The release of the disc took place in 2006 at the Tabula Rasa institution.
Almost immediately after the release of their debut LP, the guys set to work on their second studio album. In 2007, the band's discography was replenished with the collection Blue Submarine. The musicians presented a new creation on the O2TV channel in the TV program “Take it alive. The tracks of the collection were warmly welcomed by fans of heavy music. Some publications published reviews, which indicated that the "Voice of Omeriki" released the first meaningful album.
Over the next year, the musicians collected the third studio album. The work was in full swing and only sometimes the guys broke away from business to please the "fans" with live performances.
2008 began with the release of the album "Big Life". The presentation of the LP was held at the club "Schwein". After that, the guys went to the bottom for half a year. It turns out that they were overtaken by the so-called creative crisis.
A year later, they came to the fans with a semi-acoustic collection "Real People". The record was released in only a couple of hundred copies. The release of the album was celebrated by musicians and "fans" at the Tramplin establishment.
2009 - began with good news. The fact is that this year the "Voice of Omeriki" became the headliners of the fest dedicated to the Children's Day. The performance of the team takes place in the prestigious Moscow club "Mezzo Forte".
Filming of the "film-concert"
In the autumn of the same 2009, a “concert film” was filmed in this institution. The record sold well, both at concerts of musicians and in specialized stores. In the same year, it became known that the director of Mezzo Forte became the team manager. Note that the presentation of the subsequent LPs "Voice of Omeriki" was held in this club.
The year 2010 did not remain without musical novelties. The guys presented to the music lovers one of the heaviest LPs of the discography "Voices of Omeriki". We are talking about the Tetris collection. Fans were pleased with the sound of the collection.
In 2011, the collection “The whole Underground went ...!” Was released. The new LP is the absolute opposite of the previous album. Light sounding and unobtrusive themes have become subjects for controversy. The punks were dissatisfied with the sound of the collection's compositions.
Musicians take a year off to gather their thoughts. During this period of time, Rodion Lubensky realized solo work. He has released two full-length records. In 2013, the musicians returned to the stage.
Then the guys pleased the fans with the release of a new album. The record was called "Alternative". Then it became known that Rodion prepared the third solo LP "MEAT".
In 2013, the musicians of the Voice of Omerika managed to perform together with the Swedish band White Trash Family. A year later, the guys celebrated the tenth anniversary of the formation of the group. In the same year, the band's discography was replenished with the LP Attack of the Clowns. After that, "Voice of Omeriki" goes on tour.
The "Voice of Omeriki" team: our days
After the end of the tour, the musicians sat down in a recording studio. In 2015, the group's discography was replenished with the collection "Cranberry". The record was topped by 10 tracks. Music lovers especially appreciated the compositions: "Snuff", "Thug", "Nightmares" and "Gravedigger at Motley Crew".
For several years, the musicians were torn between tours and work in a recording studio in order to present a new album to please fans. In the end result, in 2017 they released the compilation "Hardcore". Two years later, the discography of "Voices of Omeriki" was enriched with the LP "Sport".
In 2020, the guys presented the record "Czechoslovakia". Longplay topped 15 pieces of music. Some of the songs were released earlier by the musicians. The musicians mixed the disc at the Red December studio. Only the trombone was recorded in Kazan, since the trombonist was “stuck” in this city during the quarantine.
“The new collection is conceptual at all. It clearly traces the lyrical hero. Listeners can follow its development. The songs of the collection will definitely not let you get bored, ”said Rodion Lubensky.
In 2021, the band's maxi-single premiered. He received the name "Bridle". The collection is headed by the tracks: "Bridle", "Ich Liebe Dich", "Beauty" and "TikTok". The release is carried out by the label "Cesis". The compositions of the maxi-single are designed in the eclectic-punk genre.
In 2021, it became known that the leader of the Voice of Omeriki group, Rodion Lubensky, would hold an acoustic concert at the Trade Union at the end of June. Performance by the artist to the accompaniment of guitar, accordion and violin. It is known that rarely performed tracks of the band will be performed at the concert.
