Intelligency is a team from Belarus. The members of the group met by chance, but in the end their acquaintance grew into the creation of an original team. The musicians managed to impress music lovers with the originality of the sound, the lightness of the tracks and the unusual genre.
The history of the creation and composition of the Intelligency group
The team was founded in 2003 in the very center of Belarus - Minsk. The band cannot be imagined without Vsevolod Dovbny and keyboardist Yuri Tarasevich.
Young people met at a local party. Over a glass of alcohol, they realized that their musical tastes coincide. After the party, they exchanged numbers, and later realized that they wanted to create a team. Later, the group was replenished by Evgeny Murashko and bassist Mikhail Stanevich.
Debut compositions Vsevolod and Yuri recorded without participants. Initially, the guys planned to record exclusively cover versions of popular tracks. But then they realized that this would hinder their development. The duo set about creating their own music. The author of the compositions was Dovbnya.
The musicians rehearsed in an unremarkable closet of an old Minsk building. The guys worked for days to accumulate material for recording their debut album. The group's first release, Feel the..., was only available electronically. He allowed to attract the first wave of "fans" in VKontakte.
After the presentation of the release, the first concert took place in the nightclub "Apartment number 3". It cannot be said that the performance was successful. A dozen people came to the concert. Most of the spectators were acquaintances of the band members. The musicians were not upset and continued to move at a given pace.
Music by Intelligency
The musicians were inspired by the work of DARKSIDE and Elektrochemie. The first compositions turned out to be "fresh". Then the band members found an individual style for which they were recognized by millions of fans around the world.
The guys called the resulting musical genre techno-blues. The unique word, as well as the original manner of performance, allowed the soloists of the group to attract the attention of the Minsk audience. Later, the Intelligency group was known far beyond the CIS countries.
The musicians managed to attract attention in 2015. Then the entire composition of the group gathered to hold a live concert on one of the Minsk streets. Initially, the musicians wanted to create something similar to the clip. But gradually a small crowd formed around the team. The owner of the institution where the musicians played offered the band Intelligency to perform on an ongoing basis.
Presentation of the debut album of Intelligence
After such a stunning success, the musicians have repeatedly delighted music lovers with live performances in the open air. Young people so fascinated with their game that even the rain could not scare away the audience. This motivated the musicians to record the debut album DoLOVEN, the presentation of which took place in the Loft.
In support of the debut album, the musicians went on their first large-scale tour. The team members visited not only the major cities of Belarus. In addition, the group visited the megacities of Russia.
The main language of the musicians' work is English. Despite this, the guys delighted the fans with one track, performed in the Belarusian language.
Release of the second studio album
After the tour, the musicians began recording their second studio album. In 2017, the band's discography was replenished with a new collection Techno Blues.
In the same 2017, the musicians performed on the same stage with ONUKA and Tesla Boy. Then the band members were actively involved in promoting the release, gave interviews and appeared on the air of the Belarusian radio.
Regarding the video clips of the group, everything is more gloomy here. The guys released the first clip five years after the creation of the team. The video for the track "You" from the second disc was filmed in the outback. Thus, the musicians wanted to show the realities of their native country.
To attract additional fans, the team became a member of the television show "Songs" on the TNT channel. The musicians presented the composition "Eyes" to the audience. From the first seconds they managed to enchant the judges. The jury, without further ado, let the musicians through to the next stage.
In 2020, the presentation of the third studio album Renovatio took place. It was this collection that music critics called the most popular. The song August quickly "burst" into the top of the Shazam world chart.

In 2020, the presentation of the video clip for the track August took place. A few days after the release of the video, the work gained several thousand views. To date, the musicians continue to work, actively expanding their repertoire. The latest news from the life of the group can be found on social networks.
To date, the group Intelligency travels with their concerts. As part of the tour, the musicians will visit the cities of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The concert in Kyiv will take place on August 1, 2020.
