The blond beauty Irina Fedyshyn has long pleased fans who call her the golden voice of Ukraine. This performer is a welcome guest in every corner of her native state.
In the recent past, namely in 2017, the girl gave 126 concerts in Ukrainian cities. The busy tour schedule does not leave her practically a minute of free time.
Childhood and youth of Irina Fedyshyn
Lviv is the native city of the singer. Here she was born, grew up and lives to this day. At an early age, she was already interested in music. At the age of 3, Irina was the star of all family holidays and entertained the invited guests.
After going to kindergarten, she continued to make progress, and at the age of 6 she already led some music concerts. After all, she had someone to take an example from.
Irina's father is a musician, despite this fact, he constantly insisted that his daughter choose a different path in life.
Being a schoolgirl, in addition to music, the girl was fond of mathematics, and at the request of her father, she even enrolled in a chess club.
The teacher noted the mathematical mindset of the girl and said that she could build a good career in chess.
But still, Ira was attracted by creativity - she constantly wrote songs, participated in productions, organized holidays and wrote scripts for them.
Soon she managed to persuade her parents to quit chess and buy her a synthesizer. The father and mother could not resist the daughter's request and allowed her to study music at a higher level.
When the girl was 13 years old, she immediately entered the fourth grade of a music school. As I grew older, the dream of becoming a star and conquering the big stage became closer and closer.
Despite entering the Lviv National Institute (she studied economics), the girl did not leave music and constantly took private vocal lessons, along with attending classes in stagecraft.
Musical career of the singer
The debut song of the performer was the composition "In front of the image of Christ." She wrote it while studying at a music school. Then she participated in many youthful competitions and festivals, gaining cherished victories there.
In 2005, she was able to reach the semi-finals of the national Eurovision Song Contest. And at one of the festivals, she met the Ukrainian singer Andriana, who invited her to perform songs of her own composition.
Ira was a member of the Lira creative association, but in 2006 she decided to build a career on her own. At the same time, according to Irina and representatives of the media, incredible success was achieved without the participation of wealthy sponsors and advertising campaigns.
In each performance, Fedyshyn completely surrenders to the listener, complementing all this with a real show and bright outfits.
She, as before, independently writes compositions and scripts for concerts, often using non-standard and, indeed, unique solutions. For example, at one concert she went on stage in a dress that she wore when she walked down the aisle.
Many of the songs hit the radio immediately after the release, and Ukrainians sang these hits everywhere. Ira has four records in her arsenal. The first of them came out immediately after the start of a solo career.
The album "Your Angel" was released in 2007 and sold out in huge numbers. Then there was the album "Ukraine Carols", which was sold in less than 2 months with a circulation of 200 thousand copies.
The next disc "Password" was released only five years later. The singer presented her last album in the summer of 2017 and called it “You are only mine”.
For her songs, the performer regularly shot bright video clips that delight all fans without exception.
The official website of the artist says that her style is a combination of popular music and Ukrainian folk art. Perhaps this is the main highlight of Ira.
She collects stadiums and huge halls, and also does not avoid performances in Ukrainian nightclubs. The girl is present at almost all important events in her native city, and also often visits Italy, Canada and Poland, where she gives concerts for Ukrainians living there.
Personal life of the singer
In 2006, Fedyshyn started a family with producer Vitaly Chovnyk, who helps her build a solo career. The wedding celebration was magnificent, and 120 guests gathered at it.
Ira says that without her husband she would not have been able to achieve such success, thanks him for the assistance provided. Together they raise two wonderful sons, they are a happy family.
What is Irina doing now?
In 2018, Ira decided to experiment and became a member of the vocal television show "Voice of the Country" (season 8). None of the jury members recognized her voice, and everyone pressed the red button, turning to the singer.
She chose Jamala as her mentor. But following the results of the second issue, she decided that Irina had no place on this project.
Recently, the husband gave Fedyshyn a new apartment in the capital of Ukraine. But they plan to use it only for leisure and business trips.
The family will live permanently in Lviv, where the eldest son has already gone to the 1st grade. And in the recent past, Irina announced the premiere of a new song, which will soon delight all fans of her work!
