How was the childhood and youth of Ivan Dorn?
Few people know, but Chelyabinsk, where he was born in October 1988, became Ivan's homeland. Dorn's parents were nuclear scientists. When Vanya was barely 2 years old, his family moved to the small Ukrainian town of Slavutych. The move was connected with the work of the parents.
Then world-class stars came to Slavutich with concerts - Patricia Kaas, La Toya Jackson, Andrey Gubin, the Na-Na group. Parents, along with little Ivan, attended concerts of musical idols. Thus, from an early age, Ivan was brought up with a good musical taste.

True, then he did not have to perform the song. He became a member of a small concert by Inna Afanasyeva. The boy was entrusted with playing the saxophone on stage, and he did it. Then the parents saw in their son the inborn acting data.
At school, Dorn was the leader. Born acting data did not allow the boy to sit still for a minute. He was a member of KVN, staged various school plays. Ivan even made a farewell video for the class about the prom.
It is known that Ivan was raised by his stepfather. His own father left Ivan, his brother and mother, and went to his young mistress. Later, my mother remarried, and Ivan had two half-brothers. In his interviews, Ivan often said that he owes a lot to his mother.

The beginning of a musical career
Ivan made his first attempts to “break into” the big stage when he was in the 11th grade. Then he wanted to participate in the Factory-6 project. He went to the casting along with his mom due to the fact that Dorne was underage.
Once in the capital of Russia, Ivan Dorn successfully passed the casting. Full of strength and energy, Dorn wanted to get 1st place. But, unfortunately, it was rejected by Ernst.
Dorn left the project. According to the future star, Ernst kicked him out of the project because of Dorn's extraordinary behavior and untidy appearance.
Then the guy was invited to take part in the project “Star Factory. Return". It was on this project that Dorn demonstrated his potential. He was called a musical discovery and predicted an excellent musical career.
When Ivan was educated at the university, a friend recommended him to take part in the casting for a new group. Ivan Dorn accepted this offer. At the casting, he performed the anthem of Ukraine, which surprised the producers very much. When the guy was asked to sing something in Russian, he sang the Russian anthem.
He was accepted and introduced to his partner Anna Dobrydneva. A little later, listeners and viewers saw the new stars of show business, the Pair of Normals group. The musicians promoted quality music. They created high-quality musical compositions and were ardent opponents of the use of a phonogram in performances.
Group "Pair of normal” declared itself positively. Anna already had considerable experience. The fact is that she was a member of several musical groups, so she knew how to work in a team. Ivan has repeatedly been a participant in various festivals and concerts.
The musical group began to record and release tracks. The Ukrainian public reacted very coolly to the work of the new team. However, the "breakthrough" occurred in 2008, when the musicians released the track Happy End. It is thanks to this musical composition that they became popular. The beginning of Ivan Dorn's solo career
For many, it was a surprise when Ivan Dorn announced in 2010 that he plans to leave the musical group and pursue a solo career. Despite this, Ivan remained on very warm terms with his old band.
The reason for leaving the group is very simple and understandable. According to Ivan, participation in this musical group did not give him either personal or creative development. Dorn saw himself on stage in a completely different way. Having asked for financial assistance from his mother, Dorn set off on a free “float”.
He did not seek support from the producers and did not wait for additional financial assistance. Ivan made a bet on the possibilities of the Internet and was not mistaken. In his interviews, the performer often said that he did not regret leaving the Pair of Normals group.
In 2010-2011 Ivan Dorn released 4 bright compositions "Stytsamen" ("Do not be shy"), "Curlers", "Northern Lights" and "I Hate". The tracks were so bright that they immediately became hits. They were remembered, and the words of the songs were heard. I wanted to listen to them, I wanted to move under them.
The name of musical compositions was heard in famous Ukrainian and Russian clubs. Ivan Dorn, wasting no time, recorded clips for musical compositions and woke up very popular. Presentation of the first album
In 2012, Ivan presented the first album Co'n'dorn. The performer was nominated for the title of "Breakthrough of the Year" in the same year. The debut disc includes hits from 2011 and several new musical compositions.

2019 was marked by a number of musical compositions and video clips. Considerable attention should be paid to such works as “In a dream”, “Husband is not at home” and “About her. Ecomanifesto for "The Coming World".
In 2020, Dorn and Mario Basanov presented the fans with the maxi-single Face to Face. The compilation was topped by only two tracks and one remix. Ivan commented that he had long dreamed of recording songs with Mario.
